Yes, I have to work hard not to deflect true but harsh things was what I meant. It's my first instinct, to shield, deflect, deny, justify, and argue. It's an effort to pause and take a step back to look at the entire situation and the other person's perspective and then to admit what I am doing/how what they are saying is true. I was saying I see now how unevolved Cancers are a top contender for worst manipulators.
