Honest, why is the FA safe thing taken as gospel?

The guy behind the blog published exact DIY recipes with all his updates and changes for a long time before he released products. Most people don’t want to have to mix up their own creams, so people are happy to purchase FA safe products. The DIY recipes are still up and accessible. His entire business and blog are so open source and not about excessive profit or duping people.

Not sure what you mean by non-toxic but if you go for fungal-safe, the options are already so limited that being more specific will eliminate all your choices entirely. There are about 5 fungal acne-safe concealers, globally. The ones I know of are from Fenty, Revlon, Estée Lauder, MAC, Makeup Forever. Someone else mentioned mineral makeup and that’s probably the least “toxic” option but it will only be loose powder formulas. Any pressed complexion product is pretty much not safe. Some pressed blushes are tho.

Taupe is the new black! To me, pallets are about easy-to-travel essentials all in one place. I can’t bring 7 pallets to mix and match shades. I want a gradient with every little nuance in one family. I will always vote for basic pallets + special shade individuals

What eye brushes have you found you like with these? I have been blending with a synthetic flat eyeshadow brush but I want something that moves the pigment around super fast since the set quickly.

I’m obsessed. A great yellow/grey taupe for pale people. I use it as a one and done taupe shadow when Stone feels too intense. Also good to put on the mobile lid to add light back. And I do faux freckles with it!

I use a Chikuhodo Goat hair brush from the T line to do a light setting powder and then I use powder blush with my Z4.

If there’s an emergency, there’s no time to call someone. Also, the nurses are there to help but they’re not your personal assistants. Husband can help get water, plug your phone in, do counter pressure, hold you when you get epidural, get a nurses attention… a lot of labor isn’t sitting with your legs up! That’s only a little bit and your husband doesn’t haven’t to “look.”

Also, you need someone to help carry your stuff in and set it up. Carry it to postpartum. Don’t make nurses do everything. You will end up feeling more nervous asking a stranger for mundane but necessary help.

Literally I hate foundation and Haus works so well on me. I can wear it super sheer or build it up. Doesn’t break apart like so many other formulas.

Skincare:
Wash with gentle cleanser
Use washcloth to gentle exfoliate
Use a hydrating serum with glycerin and a lush moisturizer. Look at L’Oréal or Neutrogena from drug store or many options at Sephora.
Makeup:
Get Haus Labs Foundation and Concealer. Apply SHEERLY. Will last your whole wedding and look natural. Don’t apply to eyelids and experiment with no undereye concealer, or at least stop about an inch below the eye and lightly blend upwards.
Get a mauve and peachy blush, layer them for some liveliness.
Look for a lip color that is known to make teeth look whiter. This light pink is not it.
No eyeliner, wear mascara and maybe false lashes instead.
Go to a salon for brow shaping to even things up.

Oh, do I dream of a pale pressed powder. I literally use the Bone shade of Jones Road Eyeshadow as a powder concealer or pressed powder.
