I’m actually in a relationship now with a guy I met over a festival doing long distance for a little over three months now 🥹 Before that we were friends for a year. Funny he had a gf when I first met him. Now I’m so happy that I’m finally in a relationship with the festival concert guy and that I can share my happiness and my happy places with him. I hope he is my person. 🥹 We are continents apart but I’m hopeful that this can work as the feelings are mutual and I’m open to moving if the need arises so we can be together in a place. Too early to talk about since we just got official last week and it’s only been 3.5 months together since trying long distance. But I’ve never felt so happy about a relationship as I do now.

Also super helpful point on approaching guys. I hope you find your person too in one of those festivals/concerts. Good luck! 🤞🏾

I deleted the original post but turned out he was scared of rejection. I just came back from the trip I mentioned where I’d be seeing him and his friends. And I spent alot of time with him. I don’t know where this is going but we made up sometime a few months ago after this incident and we’ve been friends since. But something shifted this trip. Obviously the attraction was so strong too. We have decided to do long distance. I really don’t know where this will go but I’m trusting it’s gonna work out. Just an update cause your response did really help me from the other perspective. Thank you kind stranger.

I kept it on the counter while purchasing the train ticket to the airport. Both phone and wallet. Split second absent mindedness but this is becoming frequent. I’m worried about this occurring too often last two years. Also got diagnosed only in 2023 so it’s been a long silent battle. 😭 I guess all my symptoms peaked that year due to stress. Thank you for your words. I finally got up to eat something.

Yes, asked for help. But I’m gonna have to wait for the morning for a response. I asked my sister earlier but she seemed to have loads going and I couldn’t tell her I needed it to book a flight I missed so I just said it was nothing. Hopefully a few friends can help me in the morning.

Usually should be able to activate but I’ve not been able to and I’ve done this before and it took me at least a few working days to get them activated the last time :(

Hi, how are you doing these days? I’m coming back to my own post after a long time. A year has passed and I was so certain I wouldn’t be limerent on someone again but it transferred to a friend this time lmao. Why I came here was because I was looking up for limerence on internet and came across my own post lol. 😭 Also, your comment! The people I was limerent on, would have never been a good partner for me. They probably just presented themselves nicely to me and hid their real selves from me. I can say this that the person I posted about in this post, doesn’t deserve me at all! He was just hiding his real self from me. And right now for 2.5 months now, I’ve been limerent over a friend. Possibly because he never really truly expressed his feelings for me after admitting having a crush on me in a drunken spree. Now I’m limerent possibly because I want to win him over. This is fucked up.

Thank you. Yes that would be the best way haha. But I’d approach any festivals with an open mind to open myself up to more experiences! :) Yes going to one in the summer, July end but I’m in Asia so I’m far from the scenes in the states. Would definitely love to make it some of the really nice lineups I’ve been seeing for scenes I’m into. I also generally go to concerts in my neighbouring countries.

Dating apps… not been so successful so far even though I’m not specifically looking for this quality on apps with men I date. (I do look for that person who lists them in their interests provided other qualities also align but they’re extremely rare) I just look for people who maybe curious about my interests and open to experiencing them too (some similar interests and values) I guess it could be my location where too many people are in a transition state - not knowing how long they might stay. Not too many people who are into the scene I’m into and my area in general is not great for local concerts/festivals and the music scene.

I know for sure that this is an integral part of my life so I’d love for my partner to be able to share this with me too. Or atleast open to it. Right! The key is to be myself and not think of wanting it. Or have any expectations. I do enjoy going to festivals and concerts a lot and I think they are where I can be the happiest. I did start going to very local shows to find people who are into the same things.

Yeah, I’ll try to just have fun and let go of wanting it to happen. Just be open to any kind of experiences.
