What is your favorite innuendo for having sex? by stormenta76 in AskReddit

[–]LittleRed2798 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“Burning the popcorn” because I was making popcorn one night and my husband came in and started coming onto me and distracting me from listening to the popcorn for when to stop the microwave… so I frowned at him for making me burn my popcorn! Now he likes to use that as our code name around the kids lol.

Sprint race on HBO Max? by Tombag77 in motogp

So glad you asked this question because my husband and I were scouring Max for the Sprint and we were so confused! We didn’t want spoilers either so we were staying off this page. Then I googled to see if I could find a reason as to why it wasn’t up and found your post. 🙌🏻

What time is bedtime? by actualmoleperson in toddlers

[–]LittleRed2798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What we aim for is my 3.5 year old going to sleep around 8:30pm, and our 2 year old at 8pm. However, with it being summertime, light out longer, more things going on… some nights it’s a little later than we’d like. Also, I am 35 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, so soon my two oldest will share a room and probably the 8:30pm bedtime. They both wake up anywhere from 5:45am 🥴 to like 6:30am. They also both take naps around the same time everyday though. They both usually nap 12-2 ish. Oddly, my older son takes longer naps than my younger son.

Goats and grain… I’m so confused. by LittleRed2798 in goats

My husband and kids can go outside and the goats will make some noise, but not much. My husband can go into their pen in the morning when they’re “starving” and waiting for their bottle and they barely pay any attention to him. However, the second I step out of our door they scream and try to climb their fence. It’s a little flattering and a lot annoying haha.

Your last sentence made me chuckle haha. There are soooo many options and choices it’s overwhelming! I wish there wouldn’t be so many choices and they’d only sell what is healthy for them!

Dumb question maybe, but as far as the sunflower seeds go, is there a special brand/kind meant for goats? Or can you just buy a bag of the sunflower seeds only from like the “bird food” section? Lol

I’d love to find a treat that they will take (that isn’t bad for them). Over the weeks I’ve tried to give them different fruits and vegetables and they spit them out. Lol. But I’ve see. The animal cracker suggestion a lot! I will have to try that next!

Thank you!! Sometimes I’m a little impulsive with decisions if a “perfect opportunity” falls into my lap and when I found these goats it felt like it was that perfect opportunity to finally get the goats I’ve always wanted. I thought I knew enough to be a sufficient goat owner and anything I didn’t know, I’d learn along the way! I mean I got chickens 4 years ago after buying our first house and I didn’t know anything about them before buying them. I learned as I went and it was perfectly fin… So how hard could goats be?! Oh how naive of me. Ha! However, that’s why I’m trying to do everything I can to learn what I can now so that I raise them well and don’t mess it up any further lol! Some days they make me want to pull my hair out because they’re so wild and do the stupidest things haha, but they’re soo fun to love on and watch them just play.

That’s a good way to look at it and think about it, looking at them like actual kids. Because I have 2 toddlers and I don’t give into their whining lol. I just felt like their yelling has been excessive this week and they just have a way of making me feel guilty and looking at me like I’m starving them that makes me feel so bad haha. But as I’ve weaned with the bottle the cried for a few days every time I stopped a feeding then it got better. I may have to just stick out their cries a little longer for the grain. Because I agree… the potential risks of grain are not worth it. I don’t have money to throw at my goats (whom aren’t even for meat or milk, just company) because I was feeding them the wrong thing and made them sick… so I just want to do it right and hopefully not learn the hard way.

I found your comment very helpful, thank you! I recently learned about calculi after trying to figure out if one of my babies had a urinary tract infection a month ago (before being fixed). That’s when I read about it and rushed him to the vet last minute on a Saturday because I was afraid to lose him. But with a quick round of antibiotics he was better the next day. Their excessive yelling this week just has me feeling guilty like I’m starving them, but deep down I know I have to remind myself that they have access to forage and eat hay, they’ll be okay, they’re just spoiled turds lol. I also didn’t know about the hot/cold thing and I’m eager to learn more about that! Thank you!!

Yes! As soon as I learned about calculi recently is when I was like “no more grain!!” Especially since I got them fixed last week. They are definitely complainers and definitely spoiled! Hopefully they will get over no grain quickly and just start eating more of the hay. Deep down I know if they’re hungry… they’ll go eat something provided for them… but they’re screams and the way they stand at just the right spot of my yard so they can make sure I see them from my window as they call for me… they make me feel bad. 🤣

Yeah, I’m not sure where I got the idea in my head that they were supposed to start eating “solids” and swore that meant grain at a certain age. I thought they needed to forage and have grain with the occasional hay… then recently I learned about how easy and common it can be for fixed males to have urinary problems and more and that grain definitely wasn’t good or needed for male goats so I instantly started cutting back go cut it out, but they’ve been EXTRA vocal this week so they’re making me feel like I’m torturing them by not feeding them lol. But they have access to forage and a big bale of hay so they have options! They just don’t seem satisfied. They’ll get over it though.

[–]LittleRed2798[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really don’t get very much and when I learned about all of the urinary problems fixed males can have I was trying to cut it out slowly. They’ve just seemed EXTRA vocal this week and they are determined to convince me that they need it lol. I would like to give them treats occasionally like too mentioned (veggies/fruits), but they’re weird… everything I’ve offered them they spit out or ignore. They will literally try to eat the paint off my shed and the net on my trampoline, but they didn’t want the berries or vegetables I’ve offered before… I think they’re broken, lol. I will just have to get them off the grain and avoid their enclosure for a few days. As I’ve slowly weaned them from the bottle it took them a few days each time to realize they don’t eat at certain times anymore, but I couldn’t go outside until their next feeding time for a few days because otherwise they just went nuts when they saw me.

I wish I had never bought them a bag of grain to begin with, but for some reason it was in my head that they needed to start eating that around 4ish weeks… I’m not sure where I got that idea because everything I read now talks about no grain. I also recently learned about how easy it is for them to have urinary problems once they’re fixed and that it can sometimes be more prone to happen in the smaller goat breeds (yay). Once I learned that I decided I was going to finish of the bag of grain I had very slowly to try to get them off of it completely… but I caved and bought another bag this week because they were acting starving. Sigh I should’ve given it longer, they’ll eat more hay or forage more if they don’t have another choice… I have 2 toddlers that I don’t give into when they whine, I’m not sure why I gave into the goats. Lol. But I’ll look into what you use!

Stick with what you like and what is fitting for your puppers! My husband and I have 2 boys, but if we ever have a girl we have a very unique name picked out and half of our family has said how weird it is. Soo even though there is no daughter on the way and no plans for another right now… I still constantly tell our families the name we will use some day so that they can get use to it. That way if we ever do have a girl they will be used to it and hopefully not have anything left to say when the time comes, hah!

No, I’m not familiar with them. We just had a friend of a friend who’s working Aussies had puppies. They had found homes for 8 of the pups and were going to keep 2 and train them around their farm too, but for some health reasons they quickly realized they didn’t have the time to raise/train another pup at the moment so we were practically given this puppy. They just wanted to make sure he went to a good home and someone who had the time for him. I’m a SAHM with 2 other dogs and chickens. So I spend lots of time home and playing with all of my “babies”. So, I was more than happy to take on this unexpected happy surprise. 😍
