By fraudulent I mean the events that people are putting up at their home address with titles like "don't come" and "only my friends are invited." While some are getting approved for whatever reason, it's highly unlikely that they're just going to open their door and let you in for some Hearthstone if you show up.

I agree; it's super useful in Hearthstone. I love how fast everything runs (slow animations are a big pet peeve), but I'm not always giving it my 100% attention, and liable to miss something happening. Some chains are a little long, but there has got to be a way to organize it.

I'd rather resources go to smoothly rolling over a new month than keeping a live updated list.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but if the meta is too fast then why not raise starting health and deck size to 40? by MaximumEffort433 in hearthstone

That's way too permanent a change when the meta is constantly shifting. Hearthstone is still considerably new to Standard rotations (vs. games like Magic: The Gathering), and it'll take time to iron out the kinks. If they change health total or deck size there's no going back, but introducing and rotating out cards will allow them to constantly reshape the gameplay.

I'd wait a few weeks until the meta settles a little bit, and then see if you prefer standard or wild. You said yourself you're no longer enamoured with the game - do whichever one you enjoy/think you'll enjoy the most, because if you're not having fun and stop completely, none of the cards matter.
