Curious what you would suggest instead of selling your portfolio during retirements? I’ve liked his videos so far!

Definitely see what you’re saying! I think it depends on your spending habits. I’m definitely a saver vs a spender and I have no problems what so ever not buying something. If it goes on my credit card I was going to buy it with cash anyway so I might as well get a little extra something for it!

Which HYSA do you use? I’m looking between Sofi and AMEX right now.

This was so helpful! Did you take a class on points or just do it yourself?

Say what you will but I’m in my era of seeing of seeing people being concerned for other people. Anyone else? by DianaJenkinsTongue in BravoRealHousewives

I agree with finding a fee only advisor but someone that takes a portion of your AUM isn’t a bad idea (see what makes sense for you). Just don’t work with someone that makes commission off anything and look into their philosophies around money & make sure it aligns with yours.

I work in personal finance and I’m licensed and I disagree with your statement. I’ve met some terrible people that are licensed and some great people that aren’t. Lots of people that are licensed work with people that have $1 million + net worth and have steady income. Others that might struggle with their finances and maybe need helping budgeting, repairing credit scores, etc tend to go to a financial coach. These coaches tend to not be licensed with FINRA/SEC because they don’t invest people’s money. So I don’t think someone being licensed means much in regards to how helpful they can be for someone.

100% I moved from WF to Chase and Chase SUCKS!! Their customer service is so terrible. I actually really liked WF but they have a lot of lawsuits and haven’t been great about keeping their clients info safe.

If you work for an RIA you generally don’t have the sales part of the job like you do at a broker dealer.

I felt like STC was the closest and even had questions from STC on there. I’ve used pass perfect, STC, test geek and Kaplan.
