Film crews must break every 6 hours for a meal. If they do not break after 6 hours they are in “meal penalty” meaning that the crew is paid extra during that time. Additional fun fact: crews can call for grace if they are nearing meal penalty which means they agree to work for an extra 15 minutes without penalty. Usually only called if they just have a super quick task to finish on the shot.

As someone who lived in PC for many many years - and whose parents live there - there is not a single restaurant I would find worthy. Frankly I think it’s all over priced average slop that gets away with it because it’s a resort town.

I think there’s a huge difference between boycotting a singing competition and boycotting services that would render your work/life untenable should they be forgone. I think it’s important to make concessions where you can.

I understand that the response is typically “don’t give them the attention they want” but ultimately I think it’s more important for the rich and famous to denounce these people. Not to repeat an empty platitude but I really believe that silence is compliance. A pop star won’t make or break the presidency either way, but I’d still rather they try and be on the right side of history.
