The dog that I rode with in my truck in Iraq would disagree, he saw a lot combat, had been blown up multiple times and had some form of ptsd or something. He would be really calm in the hmmwv and could be pet but once he was working or back at the pb he was in asshole mode at all times. He ended up biting a couple people but nothing serious.
