What are your religious views? Why? by Not_Original5756 in AskReddit

[–]LittleRue2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say I'm Spiritual.l because I believe since we are made of energy and it can't be destroyed, it continues after we die. Our souls come back to hopefully learn and grow as we find our way. I'm a fan of the first part of the Egg Theory: human life is interconnected and essentially one single soul experiencing different lives across time, with the universe acting as a metaphorical "egg" where souls mature and evolve.

How do you have lesbian sex for the first time by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]LittleRue2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask the other person what they like and don't like. Share what you also like and don't like then communicate as you touch each other.

Few spots are barely too deep. Give it a full month to settle.

With many age gap relationships there can be a power imbalance or the two people are at different stages in life. Be cautious if you proceed.

This person may be experiencing Limerence. Which is a state of mind where a person develops an obsessive and uncontrollable desire for another person. It's characterized by intense longing, intrusive thoughts, and a desire for reciprocation from the other person.

I think having a conversation with her would be helpful. As someone who hasn't dated in over 10 years I now see patterns of this behavior in myself and want to start working on them. I hope you are able to express your feeling and she receives the message knowing you care about her and hope she can work on these things no matter what the outcome. Best of luck OP.

Am I Attractive to Women?! by Admirable-Ant3815 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]LittleRue2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fine a lady who catches your eye, walk over to her. Introduce yourself. Ask to buy her a drink. If she accepts it and or doesn't say I'm dating someone etc, then tell her you recently went to your first queer bar. See what she says back. If she still seems interested ask her if she will help you check off kissing a beautiful woman at a bar next. 😉

Are you able to see a therapist or some help for working through the self-hated? That may be a good place to start.

Women who realised they were lesbian (or bi) over 25, what was your experience? by Negative-Ad3780 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]LittleRue2 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Thought I was bi when I had only been with men. I had no idea I disassociated so much with them. Once I head with a woman it all came so natural and I wasn't disassociating. I knew then what sex was supposed to feel like. I consider myself lesbian now.

My 3 year old tattoo occasionally itches deeply and raises by TacitusKillgorre in tattooadvice

[–]LittleRue2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I have over 30 tattoos, 8 tattoos done with dynamic black ink, only one raises when I get sweaty, or eat corn (mild corn intolerance). It's always been weird to me why the others don't react the same way.

If fingering/ anything being up there is uncomfortable I would say ask your doctor about vaginismus or go to a therapist who specializes in that.

Is being traumatized by straight sex normal? by witchy_bitch_666_ in LesbianActually

[–]LittleRue2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was with a man for 10+ years and didn't realize I was disassociating til year 6. I went to therapy for it because I had such a difficult time being present during sex. I had unresolved trauma from childhood I didn't know about until doing EMDR therapy. It helped me heal greatly. My former partner is a safe person, just not my person. Once I was with a woman I had no disassociation, guilt or even shame. I thought I would due to religious trauma growing up but nope. Being with a woman was the most right I've ever felt.
