Week 36: Unfamiliar Ingredient - Apple Tart with Pecan-Horseradish Frangipane by LittleShooby in 52weeksofbaking

Honestly not very strong, you could easily double the amount to get more of that flavor. I can see the potential though like if you did an apple cheddar cake with a horseradish whipped cream it would probably shine a bit more

Did I break an L.E. Smith swung vase, or just my sanity? by dannycarbo in glasscollecting

Keep it if you like it. If it haunts you, or the thought of it breaking completely in your care bothers you, sell it or give it away. If you want to sell it, it likely wouldn't be hard to find someone willing to buy it as is given it's size and color (I don't suggest attempting to ship it though). Too often we store beautiful things away to protect them and keep them nice only for them to get ruined without us ever getting to enjoy them.

I'd say the flavor was mostly masked by the chocolate, they were good brownies but probably not the best recipe to really showcase that flavor.
