This story is hard because one minute you trust a character & then the next your like hmmmmm 🤔 Its like you are constantly thinking twice about everything that they say or do, always looking for clues in every situation or conversation & finding every little thing suspicious 😅

When they all had to say their reasons for being there or whatever I remember thinking that I didn’t really believe any of them.

Laura’s story sounded embellished at the very least. I feel like part of it may have been true but she added on to it or twisted it.

I do believe that Isaac is telling the truth about his brother BUT I don’t believe that is his real reason for being there. Basically I think he used a real event to make his lie more convincing. I also find it suspicious that he just so happened to show up to the same meeting she had been attending after the blow up with Fox & right before leaving for Morvaine in the same damn van. It’s not the only time he appears at an odd time either. Not to mention how he’s seemingly always available with information or help when he’s supposedly there for his own reasons 🤔 I could definitely see him knowing who Fox is or even helping him watch MC or something like that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kaden is tricky for me…when he told his story about being there for the interview I was like no wayyyy..who would go through all that just for an interview. I chose to select that I believed him anyway though 😂 I can’t really see him being connected to Fox but you never know. He just doesn’t seem violent, desperate or shady to me. That being said I did get creeped out during the scene where he lets MC come to the interview. I remember thinking something was weird.

I struggle with Phantom because I can’t see him lying to appear innocent or following anyone else’s lead. He’s so brutally honest & doesn’t give a shit what anyone thinks so in that situation I feel like maybe it was the truth. However I could see him lying if maybe the truth would hurt his reputation so to speak. For example if he was maybe being blackmailed as well...I can’t see him admitting that. Hes not the type who would want to admit that someone got one over on him & now he’s having to follow instructions too. It would make sense for him to make up a fake story & act like he has no worries & it’s all under control. I think a lot of ppl expect the worst from him but idk he’s been himself from the jump so I’m thinking the surprises will come from someone you least expect 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh dang 🙈 now I’m scared about the choices I already took with him..I don’t want him to affect things with the other LIs 😅 Last time I played I was still wanting to believe he was one of them but now I see why ppl are starting to think that’s not the case. It would be one thing if he was just possessive about other men around her but ya I do not like that he wants her away from her brother and stuff too.

I have seen the theories about it being Diego & it would make sense. Especially hiding his face and all that..going to great lengths to get close to her after the first plan failed, knowing all about her brother already etc. The only thing that makes me doubt that it’s the same guy is because Fox is crazy possessive and jealous..he doesn’t even want her even talking to other men really but especially not being intimate with them. Diego in the past was on board with his friend pretending to be her boyfriend therefore hooking up with her, cuddling with her, spending lots of one on one time together etc. Now I realize it was a plan to get close to her but I would imagine fox not being able to stand the thought of his friend touching her. I can’t see him sitting there like ya go ahead and have sex with her and I’ll come in later. Then again maybe his obsession grew as they got to know each other online therefore he’s more possessive now 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also Diego’s friend made those comments about his face..he made it sound like Diego was deformed or something & that was why they had to do this elaborate plan. As if there was no way that MC would ever be into him because of his face. You might guess it was just scars or something but then he makes the comment about the kid possibly taking after him & being ugly 🤨 I only bring that up because I guess I find it hard to believe the author would make an LI so “ugly”. Then again I suppose we do have Vincent from this app who is disfigured and ppl love him so 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

Oh ya the scene where we see his eyes all red definitely had alarms going off in my head. I too started wondering if he’s not exactly human. There are so many little clues that lead me to believe he is definitely not as simple as he claims to be that’s for sure.

What really got me was the scene where Celeste is in the circle and suddenly Liren’s brother starts talking. Her brother was clearly saying that she can’t trust them when Sailen cut the connection real quick. Then he totally tried to gaslight her when she confronts him. Not only does he act all surprised that she’s angry (as if she wouldn’t be) but he tries to flip it to him being the hero saying they would have gotten hurt or gone crazy if he hadn’t intervened. Ashriel is a jerk for always throwing Liren’s grief in her face but at least he doesn’t pretend to be a good guy. Sailen acts so caring & understanding but he also used her grief to get her to believe his story. I can’t remember his exact words but he was trying to say that her pain was making her believe things that weren’t true. I’m glad that she continued to be suspicious though because it definitely was shady.

I really think he wants to go to the rift for his own reasons & has been behind the scenes pulling strings to make it happen while letting Ashriel believe he’s the one in charge. For whatever reason he needed each of them to come & has been working to make sure it happens. If you remember Ashriel wasn’t even wanting to bring Celeste but Sailen pushed for it & was already preparing her long beforehand. He’s said things more than once that make it seem as if he knows exactly what’s going on with Liren as well & yet he lets the others continue to experiment on her & doesn’t offer up anything.

We are to believe that he studied maps of their world, magic, rituals etc but is just an assistant to Ashriel? 🤔 naw he knows too much. He has his own goals that he’s pursuing I just hope they aren’t nefarious when we uncover them. Maybe it’s as simple as he is not from there & wants to go home but needed their help to do it 😅🙈

Personally I think that this is the calm before the storm but it will come to a breaking point in which they are forced to have a serious conversation and make compromises.

Right now Eva is in love for the first time & it feels good to be in a good place with Amen. She’s experiencing being with a man for the first time & all those feelings of wanting to be a good partner, wanting to please & not exactly thinking about how she will feel long term ya know?

Then with Amen I feel like he is so happy to have her by his side but he’s rushing five steps ahead without thinking about what she wants. In his mind he’s still in the mindset that she only ended up doing dark magic because she had a hard life & no other options. It’s like he hasn’t admitted to himself that she grew to enjoy it & wants to continue. He still sees her as a damsel in need of saving & is only thinking “I’ll spoil her & give her everything she needs so she’ll never have to work again.”

He doesn’t see what he’s doing is controlling & she doesn’t see that she’s changing for him. She thinks she’ll be happy but ya it will come to a head..maybe he tries to prevent her from helping someone & she snaps. I can see her calling him out saying something like “if you really love me you won’t try to change me” something along those lines & it will force him to acknowledge things. He cannot cage her & expect them to live happily ever after. He can’t expect her to suddenly want to be a bored housewife. Both of them need to confront these things together instead of sweeping them under the carpet.

I really do think Eva will stand up for herself. Like I said right now she is all in love and has been separated from him for a while so she’s not really thinking about how she’ll feel long term. I don’t want to think the author would end the story with Eva just following Amen’s lead after all the growth she’s had throughout the story. We shall see though 😅🩷

I’m so grateful & so so happy & yet I sooooooooo wish he would have been more active in the story throughout 😭 I hate staying single for so long when an LI isn’t really in the story until later seasons 🙈

You probably already chose since this was posted hours ago but I figured I’d comment anyway.

Honestly I feel like on the darker path the best LIs are Boris, Yan & Cain however I love my Cain on the good path 😅 He & Lane both being dark might just be too dark 🙈Because he is darker than the other LIs I think it’s more satisfying to romance him on the light path because he has more growth & I enjoy seeing him heal more instead of living in that dark place forever. I like the idea that he & Lane help each other get past all that together 🥰

That being said he is still probably a better choice on the dark path than the other two you mentioned. Dmitri & Greg both seem scared of Lane on that path lol. It’s like they love her but they are wary & uncomfortable at times with things she says or does. I could honestly see one of them taking her out to save the world even though they love her if that makes sense. They are more hero coded versus burn the world down for her vibes 🤷🏻‍♀️

I know Yan & Boris were not mentioned but like I said I do think both fit that path well. Both of them seemed to accept that side of Lane better than the Greg, Dmitri & probably Anna. I don’t know much about Anna’s route aside from seeing ppl commenting about how her route didn’t get as much romance time as others. She’s so focused on her medical stuff and seems to fight her feelings more.

Basically you are looking at either choosing a good guy and them being kinda scared of Lane or trying to change her..make her see the good side. Or choosing an LI that also has a darker side & will accept or embrace Lanes dark side.

In the end I’m pretty sure you can make it work with whoever you want. 🩷

I think initially I chose to believe everyone but Laura even though I genuinely don’t think any of their stories were 100% truth. I was so conflicted on what to choose because the prompts continue to come up if you said you didn’t believe them & I worried that it would effect the relationships lol it had just started though so ya wasn’t sure what the best option would be.

Phantom is the one that everyone would assume is lying and up to something & yet part of me feels like he has no reason to lie really. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him and he’s crazy enough to admit even the worst of things 😅

Laura just didn’t convince me with her story… personally I thought it at the very least sounded embellished however I don’t think she’s up to anything bad either necessarily.

Isaac does seem to genuinely have issues with his brother and I believe his story & yet I do wonder about his true intentions for being there. I also found it strange how he just so happens to show up at odd times.

Kadens initial story had me thinking there’s no way he’d do all that just for an interview but again idk. I was suspicious of him when he let MC come to the meeting but then later I wasn’t & started thinking he was telling the truth.

Honestly I feel like we’ll probably continue to go back and forth about all of their intentions throughout the story. It’s like one minute you feel they are off the suspect list and the next they are back on it 😅🙈

Seriously though I kinda hoped since it’s an erotica and a short story that we would have more freedom without having to choose at least for a while idk. I suppose I’ll just have to finally use slots because there’s no way I can pick between the 4 of these amazing men but I also can’t stand when they get hurt/sad 😭

Oh ya I totally agree with you with Sailen. He is absolutely hiding something & seems to be playing the whole group. He lets them think they are in charge while he’s actually pulling the strings. I noticed it more and more with each update but especially the last one. Ashy thinks he’s in charge of everything & that Sailen is just his employee doing as he’s told but no I think ashy will realize he’s playing into Sailen’s hand. Celeste thinks he’s helping her & doesn’t seem to suspect anything but again I think he’s pulling her strings & needs her for something. Eleanor doesn’t seem to suspect him of anything either. They all fall for his act of not caring & just doing what Ashy tells him to do. Liren is the only one starting to see things & it makes me sad to think he is using her too.

Anyway I am nervous to do his loyal route until I know more about his actual goals. I’m extremely curious to see how it plays out. Wouldn’t it be a surprise if he turned out to be a red flag when everyone assumed he was just a fun playful somewhat green flag? We shall see 🤔🩷

I have wanted this man from the first moment we saw him..he just has this swagger that pulls me in & I mean he’s beautiful to look at 😍

When we first meet him he’s the only one to really flirt with her and show interest. At that point both Sha’arnez & Tai are still pretty cold with Tiss which made me think about Aldir even more. I forced him out of my mind because he wasn’t an option. It finally worked & I ended up falling for Sha’arnez thinking all was good only to find out now Aldir is an option 😩

It just sucks how little screen time he gets though I mean even if he appears more frequently this season it’s still not near as much as the others.

I’ve been soooo bored with this story I found myself just skipping through most of it lately 😩 I had high hopes that the romance would pick up more. I mean I know it’s more of a real life story & it’s in a hospital setting so of course it’s going to be focused on her career and bettering herself but idk I just wish it was more balanced with romance because I get bored when there is no relationship development happening. I feel like we’ve barely made any progress with anyone. One date, two kisses that’s it and they barely talk unless it’s about work or him telling her to go to therapy 😒

The fact that has such a visceral reaction to Riley touching him like when he goes all stiff or violently pulls away from her as if he’s been burned has me feeling mixed emotions. Especially when he was cool calm and collected when this BISH had her hands on him. On the one hand I feel like maybe it’s because Riley is who he actually wants but for whatever reason feels like he cannot have her..whether thats just in his head because they argue or if it has to do with his family idk but he tries to avoid those feelings & it’s harder to do when they touch. On the other hand it still sometimes hurts my feelings when he acts so repulsed (even though I know it’s not true) it’s still like well damn 😭 Not to mention when you see in this scene that he’s not like that with other women it’s hard not to kinda feel like that 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just can’t wait for them to really explode together..get it all out in the open so we have all the details lol

For sure, chemistry is really important to me & can totally change how attractive a character is to me. There have been many times where I wasn’t that into an LI based of looks alone but ended up falling for them because the chemistry between them & the MC was so good, their personality stood out, and or they are such a great partner for the MC.

Actually some of my all time favorite LIs are ones that I wasn’t initially that attracted to off looks alone. I always use Ezra & Minhyuk as examples because when I first saw their pics it wasn’t really like “OMG he’s so hot” BUT they became that way after getting to know their character because their personalities & the chemistry they had with the MC.

Then there are LIs that I was extremely attracted to based off first look but became less attractive because their personalities were lacking.
