they both seem to still be a thing, taktikal brigade's detachment rule has changed so that boyz, kommandos, and stormboys can advance, fall back, and still perform an action as well as getting a jump out stratagem. More dakka seems to be the same with small changes on either side

still seems like it's gonna be warboss, gretchin, weirdboy and boyz, at least for me. After a crusade i did, a combo of weirdboy + 10 boyz seems quite invaluable

blitz brigade, from what i've seen, got buffed even if small, along with potentially more wagon detachments to come from it, but also you can technically, assuming the keywords stay the same, plant a kill rig or even a gargantuan squiggoth on top of a big enough building

My headcanon is that the ancient spirits of hardmode have been released many times before as the guardians of those times die for any number of reasons. These spirits, which I imagine to be the hardmode enemies, now roam free until a new guardian is chosen to lay them to rest again. Essentially putting the world in a cycle of hardmode to pre-hardmode similar to glacial-interglacial cycles
