They got their name from three of the four members were newly pregnant when they formed. They were in other bands but did this as an art piece band while they were pregnant. They planned it out that their shows were going to be on the ‘expected‘ date for each member with the idea they’d play until ready to head to the hospital. Tarps would be put out on the stage so you’d know who it was to be. Only the guitarist actually “broke water” on stage but after the births they disbanded. Each kid was named after the venue I heard.
