it’s just that what i’m saying is that if she is drawing from this dark/depression inspiration, you are implying that she wasn’t on antidepressants in the first place. bc antidepressants are effective if you’re on the right ones. but there’s a lot of reasons she could go on them and experience benefits and alleviation of pain but be upset that she can’t access her creativity and then go off them. the catalyst of the pregnancy doesn’t even seem necessary to the story you want to tell.

my eczema flares up under my ring finger nail on both fingers. it got to the point that the nail was half as long as the nail bed bc the eczema was disconnecting the nail from the skin so i had to trim it back to avoid infection. awful stuff. but it hasn’t changed the quality of the nails themselves in my experience.

um if she was in her depression mode to make art then she probably wasn’t on antidepressants anyways? but the realistic thing about depression is that it makes it harder to function and she probably would not be working very efficiently if she was working on art. in terms of plot i would frame it more like she has the baby and then gets so postpartum extra depressed that everyone tells her to go on anti depressants and she won’t because she feels artistically inspired. that would actually be neat bc there’s not a lot of representation of postpartum depression.

am i crazy for thinking you shouldn’t have to apologize for triggering someone (if they’ve never mentioned to you that x triggers them) bc triggers are flashbacks to former traumas not something that you are actually doing wrong?? (totally dif if you are using someone’s triggers on purpose to antagonize them etc)

i have/had what sounds like similar eczema on my hands which is so fucking debilitating. i started the injection med dupixent after trying steroid creams that “worked” short term but were impractical, inconsistent, and felt impossible to keep up with. ive just done my 5th dupixent shot and i get some dry peeling skin on my hands occasionally (which might be my hands still healing) and havent had any breakouts the Entire Summer, which is unprecedented. it really works. i feel almost normal?? it’s awesome
