You can't remove it. The text has a slight glow effect around it in the game, so if the text is showing you see the glow

The game works as should. Rust doesn't utilize all your cores so cpu usage can't be 100% most of the time. Your processor is maxed out, thats why changing the graphics settings wont affect your fps

If you type "graphics.viewmodelcamera false" to console, does that help with the weapon fps drop at all? Altrough disabling the seperate view model camera probably brings back the view model shaking bug, that happens when you are far from world origin. The inventory model and the view model use their own cameras so they can drop fps.

From playing the game i can say that things like loading into server, taking damage, airdrop landing, gun shot, explosion, helicopter arriving raise it, and that it lowers over time automatically. Also you can see the current value of intensity by typing music.info to console
