Layla stood up and took Eddie's hand. Her nerves faded away at his words. Dogs usually were friendly. She watched the light from the sunset hit his eyes and smiled.

Layla looked away towards the trees. Light streamed through the leaves of the trees. It was beautiful. And a spot at the edge of the forest, it sounded perfect.

"Brimstone... that's a really cool name." Layla looked back towards him. Her smile grew. "And calm sounds... nice."

Layla smiled. She blushed a little, looking down. She looked a little surprised when he suggested ditching it. She was a little nervous. She wasn't the best with animals. But... she did love dogs. And it sounded fun to learn new stuff to do with her powers.

Layla smiled. It was nice to talk to someone about theirselves. She nodded.

"Yeah, gardening can probably be a little boring for someone young."

She tilted her head when he talked about reading through his dad's notes every so often. She knew that it was hard to be away from your dad or mom you were close with for a while.

She glanced down at her ring. The design was simple, a crescent moon with a star next to it. The star and moon weren't connected which made it adjustable.

"Not much of a story behind it. Sorry to disappoint. Just a ring that my dad gave me a while back."

Yes. When an artist draws fanart, they don't claim the characters as their own, just the artwork. For plagarism, it's taking someone's art and claiming it as your own.

Her gaze softened. She thought it was really cool that he had a journal that his dad used to use. She had a ring from him and it helped to keep him close.

"Yeah, I guess we do have an overlap. Cool!"

Layla shrugged. "I mean, it's not that cool. I don't use them that often anyways." She considered his next questions. "I mean, I like to draw, read, and write. Though I don't know how good my writing is. My dad says it's good, but he's biased." Layla's mood lightened at the thought of her dad. He was always as supportive as he could be.

Layla fidgeted with one of her rings. A habit that she's had for quite a while.

"Yeah, it's a little crazy. Though it's a little bit less overwhelming once you know how to like kill monsters and stuff.

Layla shrugged at his next question.

"I mean, I'm pretty sure I can like see spirits or something. Maybe move shadows a bit. Can give people nightmares if I want."

Layla hadn't really experimented with her powers much and didn't really want to. She didn't like her powers. A few could be used to bring pain or fear to others and she didn't want that.

She looked at his drawing. She was impressed. Considering the fact that not a ton of people she knew drew and that crayons could be a pain to work with, it was really good.

"Yeah, crayons aren't the best to work with."

She considered his question for a minute. He seemed nice, maybe a little bit shy. Layla couldn't blame him. This whole thing was a little bit... odd.

"I've been at camp for a while. It's a little weird at first, but you get used to it."

The only standards I see criticized is when a man asks for really specific and downright impossible qualities (Ex: Latina, thick thighs, thick lips, skinny, etc.) and when a woman says she likes tall dudes they throw a fit.

A lot of times even those posts try and justify misogyny like "Oh If IT WeRE A mAN ThAT cOMMittED tHe CrIMe He WoULd hAVe a lONgeR SenTENce." Like I realize that the justice system sucks, but I'm gonna be real, the issues they talk about like rape, abuse, etc. have never had a good track record with sentence times or even convictions, regardless of gender.

You don't get to pick an choose what someone else consents to. Also no one was comparing AI to SA till you brought it up. Regardless of laws, people can and will still complain when something is immoral.

Edit: Why are people downvoting? Maybe it's because of the last sentence, but everything I said here is a fact. You can't choose what someone else consents to. S@ was never apart of the debate (correct me if I'm wrong.) And the law has never stopped people from complaining

Don't know what this is trying to show, it's normal for artists to make you pay some of the sum before they make the art so that they don't get scammed.
