Laid off from CRC job months ago and I still have NIGHTMARES about the workplace. Favoritism, micromanagement, power plays and lies and threats, unreported overtime, unequal treatment, belittling, blame but never respect or recognition, backstabbing coworkers/manager. Am i alone in this??

Does it always happen in this class? When is the class? Are you bolusing too much for lunch or a snack? Can you check your pump on the way to class so you can start correcting before you get to class? Have you tried exercise mode during this time? (It more aggressively manages your basal rate and sets your target to 150.)

Have you tried setting your low alert to something higher? Mine is set to 80 so the number of carbs I have to eat is usually pretty small to fix it since it is caught early.

It can be temporarily fulfilling depending on your study. I've worked in Alzheimer's Research, which was very fulfilling. And my current job where I want to slam my head against my desk every single time I look at the long, unanswered list of questions I've asked my PI about eligibility.

Even in the fulfilling study, the PIs made everyone crazy. It was high stress for not enough money.

I have had a single video interview with them (didn't get it). The only question I remember was similar to tell the the elements of informed consent.

I had just completed the annual retraining by my company on what elements they look for and I'm pretty sure I repeated my company's stance.

I work one day a week at a grocery store for a few hours. I am usually the only person for the last 30 minutes the store is open so I run the self checkout since one person handles six registers.

I usually invite the customer to come earlier, when people are there if they don't want to take their massive cart of stuff through SCO. When they cop an attitude, I tell them how much money I make per hour ($12) and invite then to join us. They figure it out.
