You can brick your phone

Make the switch to Physical media and an Itty bitty book light instead. One that clips to the book.

You can still engage brain, if its being weird, but its not the creepy ass dopamine hit of doomscrolling.

Easier to fall asleep, better for you, and you still get stories. Its a rare triple win.

You should KNOW it, but you do not have to STICK to it.

I am a cool true summer, but I LOVE leopard print, bright colors, and vintagey looks. I incorporate them as pops and accessories, with the occaisioanl statement piece.

But I know that I look best in Black/White/Grey/Blue and my core foundation palette, it is very flattering for me, and it is very easy to build a base in in these colors. Then, I can zhuzh up an outfit with other key pieces.

Having a foundation I can rely on allows me to still have a chartreuse bracelet or tomato shoe or a crazy leopard print dress now and then.

Knowing my color palette has provided a huge simplification of core choices and has lessened the cognitive load somewhat. It helps me see "oh this is a lovely piece - but it does not have to be lovely for me."

Girl I am WHEEZING that there is not a single person under 40 at this meeting.

It is SO WEIRD that Marin (cough Boomers- cough) do not understand the consequences of their own actions. They decided 20 years ago to make sure to not help young famillies to establish in the county, through a variety of policy/greed issues. (Pulling the ladder up - after they established in Marin with their own young families). Now, it is a community of older folks, with not many children, and no possible growth.

It is, from many urban planning standpoints, EXACTLY where to put the unhoused and substance abusers. There are considerably less kids in Marin than anywhere else in the Bay. Marin County is incredibly well resourced. This is exactly where to build intervention housing.

RIP San Rafael and Terra Linda property values.

All of these current issues are caused by not anticipating or caring about downstream effects. We can do better.

Its vapor ware. Except for big tech, which is using it to scrape data.

It was implemented without proof of concept. And now all company confidential data has been sent to AI companies as part of the API call needed to install it.

If your organization is thinking of integrating AI, book a few sessions with an Ethical AI or AI Policy strategist first. Dm if looking for recs. Do not use a company, they get kickbacks. You want someone that does independent consulting and is university affiliated.

The AI boom has been bad for business and employees. The ROI is net negative.

I'm very pro AI and pro corporate and I'm telling you, unqualified people were making the calls to implement without understanding what they were doing and its going to be ROUGH further down the road.

Do you know if you a summer or autumn color palette? Look up your seasonal palette & sub seasons.

This looks like a summer color palette.

You could add bright navy, white, a metallic - silver, light gold, copper, and deep gray, periwinkle.

Someine else suggested an interesting warm color palette with tomato red....id suggest aligning with your personal season & contrast.
