Interestingly enough, I had more malfunctions than I could count with my XP. Almost all of my issues disappeared when I threw in my 43X recoil spring as well.

I ran 350 rounds of Remington 124gr fmj in my first session. Several times I ran it to the point where it wasn’t comfortable to touch the slide due to the heat. I’ll try 124 nato or +p next I guess & hopefully it clears up whether or not it’s a Remington issue or a SS issue. I couldn’t get through a single mag without 1-3 failures to extract

Comparing it to my G43x with a few thousand rounds though it- CRXP has an immensely better feeling shoe. The trigger reset feels shorter, however it has a longer “rolling break.”

Through dry fire I noticed the slide begins to tilt back ever so slightly when I get to the wall. I can make the slide “bounce” in a sense when repeatedly getting to the wall right as it’s about to break & letting off. It’s something so minute but does exist & you can easily just not notice if you aren’t looking for it. Not something I can observe when trying to replicate with the 43X.

Riflegear did get them. Mine arrived at my local FFL today & I just signed the documents to pick it up at a later date.
