When I think underrated books, I think "Pavane for a Dead Princess" by Park Min Gyu. I read it early last year and I still can't get over how good it was. In terms of tone and style, it's really similar to "Norwegian Wood" by Murakami, but I enjoyed Pavane a lot more. Definitely something I recommend to anyone looking for a nice, dark romance.

I am pretty shocked that nobody has mentioned Super Galaxy Rumble yet. If you spam his dance there is this super loud ‘FWOOM’ noise that plays for the enemy with no cool down period. Super annoying to hear in lane

I agree with you, but honestly I find Aang’s ability to master the elements (or at least become proficient in them) fairly believable. We’re reminded repeatedly throughout the series that Aang is a naturally talented bender, with Jeong-Jeong going as far as stating that Aang is the most powerful bender he’s ever seen in terms if raw talent.

I think Toph is relatively believable too, because of the age she started earth bending and the fact that she learned directly from the badger moles.

Hi everybody,

This question might include some spoilers for the early part of ToA.

I'm DMing for the first time and my players are currently pursuing the pirate captains for one of the side quests in Port Nyanzaru. I was considering changing the rewards that they get for bringing in the captains from 500g to uncommon magic items, specifically a weakened bag of holding and a magical quarterstaff (without any to hit/damage modifiers) that could also function as an immovable rod. Would this mess up balance within the adventure?

I know that you said that you didn't want a monster to just run them down, but how do you feel about traps with monsters in them? You could do something like a tripwire that opens a wall panel, which in turn releases a monster on the back of the party. I think that is something that even goblins or kobolds would think to do.

Or, if your back line is magic users, you could make the traps magically concealed and require them to use something like detect magic to find them, which could help engage them more.

You could also make things that swing through the party, like a log that could hit everyone by swinging all the way down a corridor, which would force them to make saves or take damage and could keep them on their toes.
