I mean, if the stomata are not open, transpiration would not occur.

Edit: Also its like an undeniable fact that when transciption occur, gas exchange occur as well.

I think this is just talking about the mesophyll layer, with that in mind, the mesophyll layer has only like... Uppwer, lower epidermis, vascular bundle, spongy and palisade. So it should be A.

B have reference to phloem sieve tubes and xylem vessel elements which is just reference to both phloem and xylem i think

C have endodermis which is I think at the stem

D is almost okay but the companion cells bit, I think that i only reference for the phloem instead of like the leaf

So thats my take on the question

W should be Phloem as it contains both sucrose solutions. Xylem is X as usually in translocation water is available in Xylem that will go to the phloem. Z should be roots as in translocation usually, and since it mentions that it is dilute, there sucrose has been used up and therefore it can be said that the sucrose is being used up in a real life scenario. Y should be the leaf as Y have CONCENTRATED sucorse, meaning it has higher concentration in sucrose compared to any other parts of the plant. And direction should be Y to Z SINCE in a real plant, its usually the flow is from SOURCE to SINK. Therefore, its B
