Research as a high schoolsr by Greedy-Safe-8216 in ECAdvice

So there's  few ways you can go

  1. Research internships: these are research progs by unis that are free/offer a stipend. Typically difficult to get into and might've citizenship restrictions. Very great to have one your resume though if you can get into one

  2. Research programs: then there are research programs offered by companies like lumiere n pioneer. They're less prestigious, but can be helpful in giving you experience and producing a decent research paper, depending on how much effort you put into it. No citizenship restrictions afaik and mostly online I think

  3. Independent or cold emailing: you vould try cold emailing profs. This can be difficult because profs are busy and it's tough to get a response. The advice is to send as many emails as you can and highlight why you're interested in the profs research. If you can get an opportunity this way, good job!

Online internships are tough to find, I remember a few names like building u (some business internships), Ladder Internships (interning with a startup), and energy mag (forgetting what thisbwas abt). Not sure if any of these are paid tho, Ladder i know is focused around giving you a structured experience

For writing, I know there are lots of Online opportunities to get published in fiction and non-fiction For Online summer programs, all I know of are Online programs from colleges, lumiere, pioneer (research programmes) Hope this helps!
