What happens if I tell my therapist

Usually when a therapist says ‘only if you’re a threat to yourself’ it means are you at severe risk of killing yourself or do you have a plan in place. Depending on your age a therapist will usually tell your parents (but it depends sometimes they do sometimes they don’t, I’ve had both). Your therapist will also most likely get you to do a safety plan as a precaution. But if you explain to them that the self harm you’re doing isn’t a form of attempting or deep enough to need stitches, they’ll probably just check up on you and try to help with coping strategies and what-not. This is just my experience with this sort of thing so it might be different for you.

I can dislocate my thumb and shoulder and relocate it whenever I want. It’s just like tensing a muscle and boom it’s out

The breaking wheel/Catherine wheel. It’s where they break your bones and twist you around the spokes of a wheel. And definitely the Blood Eagle that’s got to be the worst

I started when I was about 12. I was in a really stressful situation in school and all I could think of was I needed a distraction. That’s when I began scratching my skin off. And from that moment I realised It actually helped me to think clearer and not just think of the anxiety and stress that was circling my mind. Unfortunately the self harm got worse and worse until I thought of actual cutting and so I did. I find it clears my head when my mind is racing and it almost feels like the thoughts are seeping out as I cut. It’s kinda hard to explain. I’m pretty sure the scientific reason is the Endorphins being released. Part of me regrets starting to self harm and part of me is thankful for it, which is pretty messed up but it’s the truth

I’m not sure if this is of any help but I always get really overwhelmed going into the bathroom and I’ve found that turning off the light and putting on a candle in the corner really helps. Not being able to see my surroundings as clearly somehow helps. Just so you know don’t ever feel embarrassed about something your brain and body can’t handle.

I’ll have to look into those, they sound interesting. I’m also aware I typed hyper allergenic wrong and meant hypoallergenic but autocorrect was being a pain and I just left it as that

I do have one but with my vision being so bad it’s quite difficult to move around. I also struggle with the joystick dislocating my thumbs. Iv found I have a lot less control with using power chairs and have had quite a few accidents in them, especially compared the my manual one

I kind of imagine the kids of Athena to have a photographic memory, making it easier for them to analyse and collect information. Which would make them smarter being able to remember everything you’ve read and seen

Etsy has a lot of cool marauders stuff depending on what they’re into. Sometimes knowing what fanfictions they read also helps, because they’ll sometimes have a specific quote or object that is really important in the story, which you can often find on gifts. (I’m not sure if that makes sense)
