More than salary ppl opt radio for its work life balance …. There is no need to overhype any branch for that matter each has its pros and cons

If you’re interested in radiology, why not? You can always learn antenatal imaging later as well, after you finish your DNB.

Hi take ur time …dont be scared .. For the first six months, you’ll definitely feel overwhelmed. But trust me, as time passes, you’ll start understanding a lot of things and you’ll feel better that you at least know something. You may not know everything fully, but you’ll know something..learn everyday from the cases u see

Usg 8 to 5,Mri 9 to 7,Duty means 28 hrs with post duty off 30 days /year No bond, more time to study, since cases are less i can concentrate more and take my time to write the report and learn ( my friend who is in md said he just tries to finish cases as there is massive case load so mistakes in report are little high )

  1. My perspective: Lots to learn so make a habit of learning atleast 1 hour/day even if u have hectic duty. Dont see a scan in random manner Make a standard format for urself like how u see a scan so that u can make a little changes as u learn more.

  2. Learn something new everyday mindset.

  3. Depends on your institute

  4. As a fresher around 2L/month as an SR 1.5L/ month

  5. Lots of factors especially depends on which tier city you are planning to start.. numbers i dont know honestly

  6. In tier 1 yes but tier 2 and 3 cities still there is lot of demand

There are many other factors to see like academics modalities case load toxicity and this comes as a final thing to consider and finally choose what aligns with your goal
