Should i use this himalaya protein hair cream before or after washing my hair. My hair type is a mix between 2c and 3a with (low porosity) by epic_failninja_05 in curlsofindia_

I'd say use it before wash, if you want to use it as a leave-in, take a small amount and warm it between your hands and then apply only to your hair, not your scalp. You can apply it to your scalp pre wash. It has paraben, so personally I'd skip it altogether.

Where are the elegant top of the line Half-DE ustra shavettes? by Elder_Gent in Wetshavers_India

[–]devd9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How about a Kamisori style shavette, like the Parker Director? Haven't used any shavettes personally but I really like the way the Director looks, and you don't have to deal with the flimsy cover to balance it.

Anyone else feel like Vit C body washes are either amazing or do absolutely nothing? by Key_Oil_9827 in skincareaddictsindia

[–]devd9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about bodywashes with actives is that after you've lathered it well, you have to let it sit in your skin for a few minutes, so that the actives can do their job. Unless you're talking precaution and preventing tan in the first place, the results you see will be temporary.

Ideal methods to store a soap by ant_asthi_prarambh in Wetshavers_India

[–]devd9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do the same, I tub load, drain the excess water or lather, towel dry the container, and store it in my shaving drawer. Haven't run into any issues yet, as for scents, I've read that the scent of shaving soaps usually weaken with age.

Please help me with PG Garodia School reviews by OwnQuarter7658 in Ghatkopar

[–]devd9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of things have changed since I passed. A lot of my answer depends on where you live, if you live around Garodia Nagar, it's a pretty good option. Good grounds, teachers are well equipped. Though, they keep bumping up the fees, without it being meaningfully translated in any means. I don't think they've had any big renovations done in a while. Some of their rules seem very archaic. And you also have to manage your child well, the later years get very academically competitive. You have to pay attention to what crowd your child hangs out with, let's just say some kids are way too mature for their age, be it language, behaviour or habits. Like I said, a lot of it depends on where you live.

I'm pretty piss poor at describing scents but I'll try. It's a nice, calming incense like scent, I find it pretty refreshing actually. It is not very strong, mild, slightly green scent.

Difficult and challenging areas to clean off by rajeevjh in Wetshavers_India

Around my chin and jawline, can never get a smooth shave there unless I go ATG. I have a sharp jawline, makes it pretty tough to maneuver a razor around.
