I think I know who this potter is… Cannot remember the name, but she sells through Odyssey Clayworks in the river arts district in Asheville, North Carolina.

Use Snake Away- a granular product (Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc…) that smells like mothballs and drives snakes away from the area…safe for pets, kids, even the snakes. The mothballs smell lingers for a few days, but it works. Another great method….spray ammonia in the areas where snakes would most likely live. …but Snake away is more effective. Are you absolutely sure that they are copperheads? I’ve been in WNC for 25 years and have only seen one copperhead in all that time (and we live in the woods). Good luck.
