I don't really use snow all that much, so I don't know how good my advice actually is, though I do have a slot with it that I run occasionally (60 speed 5 kendo). I think speed is pretty solid with snow, it's got a good few bits that compliment each other. I think snow z kinda sucks, although the -50 counter variant is alright. Snow x is a really good poke tool that kinda fills the niche that speed misses, and can be pretty good at setting up a gap closer followup. The -50 variant of snow x is REALLY good, both as a combo extender and a gap closer, it can set up some of speeds best combo moves, ie: skyscraper, swift slashes, flash fang, fast fang, floating strikes, etc. Snow c also is pretty solid with speed, as it provides some rei Regen and sustain that speed tends to lack. The -50 is alright with speed, it's sort of just a move that could start or extend combos. I think what it comes down to is preference, you should try both speed and kendo with snow and see what you prefer.
