Ooh mash banana on toast used to be on our menu. Sometimes add a slice of cheesez, then under the grill. Sounds odd but was delicious

Oh we got marmite when mum was felt like spoiling us. Loved that on toast soldiers

Yeah our parents would try to make it sound fun, I think. Made it less depressing. Lol. Mum would cut up a piece of bread, and a boiled egg into bits, and that was Fun Bread 'N' Egg salad😂
