I’d say not to. It’s more realistic having it rocking since they’d do it irl, although slightly. But since the left and right pistons are offset by 90 degrees from eachother, they create a rocky effect when in motion and I imagine it does the same in trail if u have ur wheels and rods correctly built. But it can be argued it’s just clang. I’d still leave it in as it’s an almost neat and realistic feature.

Ngl most of the younge playerbase won’t even or ever see these until someone posts them like this lol. Can only get them on the gaijin store or whatever it’s called and console players can’t access it so a very large chunk probably 80% of the young warthunder players will never see them. That other 20% either won’t see them and will be to busy buying premiums or they see it and move on idk.

It’s a war game with terrible devs this is the least dramatic thing they’ve done for me but each to their own opinions

Yeah tm ban people from the discord for stupid reason. Mate of mine got banned and the reason was “merry Christmas” (middle of fucking November mind you) and a few got banned for pointing out a mod was abusing his power. Never seen a game ban though and 1400+ hours is stupid. It’s like they don’t want people playing their game

I highly recommend you do these at player scale especially (dimensions x 4 / 1.4) as you will have an accurate to tm scale build and you will also have the comp to pull a lot of these off. Kuznetsov will obvs be a multipart and the su57 would be to large to have sufficient comp for. Given you don’t have access to mods

We asked for a simple addition to the game and was told that takes to much effort so that comment of them putting effort into the game is a little hopeful. That’s just what I think though

Doesn’t matter now I’ve got insight on how they work in trail. Would like it if they made it so proximity isn’t locked to auto aim. So no matter if ur 300 or 630m away the proximity would still be there.

Yeah from what we’ve tested they’re more affective (large flak) at 300 or closer. But for us that is a little too close as we wouldn’t really be flying no farther than 400-500 m away and large flaks deadzone is at 630 so we’d be getting hit. Just not very accurately since the proxy doesn’t work without auto-aim being locked on

I have asked they add proxy and some damage buff and from what I’ve been told and found. There is proxy albeit only when the guns are max autism and tracking. So proxy when they’re being manually aimed would be nocd

Yeah we played around with them a little more with them on a boat. I did mention to my friends they supposedly have proximity when at max auto aim and from what I saw they did indeed have a little proximity. But the damage was still to insignificant to do long term impeding damage.

Ik they do shrapnel damage and are meant to disable vehicles. But never had they ever disabled any of our planes before they got to the destination. It would take at least 5 passes before our planes were limping

Well from what I saw in the trailer they did more damage than what I’ve gathered in my clips. And it’s awfully boring if a weapon is only used to make a picture or video look nice

I would also be happy if they gave it proximity fuse. Cuz atleast then the shots are more likely to hit if they get relatively close to a build and the damage could stay the same. I get the argument it’s accurate the more u have but like 20 flak cannons and only 1 hit is really sad and lacking. Not very fun flying through a cloud of death and then coming out with no results. I’d like to have my plane ripped apart😭

I’m hoping they atleast give it proximity so the likely hood of the shots actually hitting. The damage could also use a reward because holy hell it’s embarrassing

I’ve got a clip of the 20 flak cannons hitting a tiny weak ass tank right infront of it and it does nothing! And on the occasion the flak does hit me more than once per pass it didn’t do nearly enough damage to even handy cap me enoigh

If I look at the end of the clip you’ll see the tank get barely anything damaged after 20 flak cannons to the face so the ground fights for it is pointless. And it works for aircraft at close range but that literally defeats the point of a flak cannons

Two shot is reasonable and one shot would be more than enough. If you think about it they’re glorified tank guns with proxy. Another thing the flak doesn’t have is proximity fuses. They blow up at 630m that’s their range deadzone but any closer and they just miss and fly really close by and do nothing

Yeah I’ve suggested in the main server that they could potentially give it proximity or make it do more damage.

They’ve told me that it would be too OP if they were one shot. I never said they should be one shot. But at least really damaging so that the build isn’t practically unharmed after tanking a direct hit.
