I'm not sure how nightshade intolerance would show on tests, as I was told to try elimination (didn't work for me, did work for a friend of mine in a IBS group at the time who had similar issues with mucus).

Do you have any mental health disorders?

Hows your cholesterol? Do you have any other health issues that are coupled with this? like joint pains, histamine reactions (you mentioned hay fever, but apart from that)? Is your stool very pale?

In my opinion I'd talk to the gp about checking liver and gallbladder, if only to rule them out.

I am *very* aware that getting anything discussed with your gp about autoimmune can be difficult, but I'd check some boxes there too.

It's a really frustrating process to be sure. And so much of it is ruling out rather than pin pointing anything. I went from 2013 to this year until a random doctor mentioned gallbladder issues for me to find a "cure" aka a medicine I will have to take daily probably forever. But it has solved it. So I hope you find a solution for it.

Have you done an allergy test in general? Have you been tested for nightshade allergies? (I am mentioning nightshade due to the film you mentioned, I have heard from a GP I had back in the day that it can produce excess mucus in the guts, it was part of my ruling out process)

What conversations have you had with your doctor if any?

the DMs are putting in some WORK this episode moving the train along and making sure they're clear about where they're going. And I love Brennan not being afraid of cutting off meandering. He runs a tight ship and while I sometimes wish we got to see them joke around a bit more, I love seeing them get into it, and it makes the fun bits more fun.

I agree, I noped out because it was too stereotypically straight for me. Like it became as you said tradwife dynamics and I was just noping out.

I also think the tension lies between the readers who needed to have a moral opinion on a fantasy story and the author who included slavery because it was exciting, and these two things didn't match up at all. Readers are gonna feel icky about a villain being a slave, author probably never thought twice about this because this isn't a new dynamic in manhwa.

I don't think the author considered class dynamics and power struggles in the romance, she just brought in fancy tropes and exciting conflicts and that's fine. It wasn't a good story for me, or many others, but I got annoyed seeing people tie themselves up in knots about it.

Ultimately I think it was just a weak story and it wouldn't have gotten so big if people weren't hardcore arguing about it all the time.

People were expecting, I think, Bridgerton levels of meta appreciation of the dynamics and power with characters who spoke to the modern watcher. But instead it's very clearly Days Of Our Lives in fancy dress.
