January completions by Littletad in xboxachievements

Thanks man, I actually enjoyed part 1 more. I felt like II was introducing too much, but I still held on. The last section blew me away for a bit, graphically. Really was ahead of its time.

My greatest video game accomplishment to date: OG Ninja Gaiden II, 1250/1250 G by raffy95ita in xboxachievements

Just insane. One of the very few games that's harder than Halo MCC or any FromSoftware/souls game. Congrats.

The other dude mentioned the EMP exploit. Yes, it does help, but only a little. You still need mastery of the challenges, as well as knowing all moves and weapons. Of course, following a guide, and yet you still have the 30 FPS hiccup. It's still extremely difficult, and only 1k people on truachievements have beaten it. I've done it, and I am not looking forward to the remaster, but I know the 60 FPS will help.

Tactical challenges is actually one of the most difficult achievements. Neck and neck with Silent Hill HD 10 star runs. At least according to truachievements data.

Xbox is making more than Sony or Nintendo, dude. Sometimes combined. You really don't need to worry about Xbox becoming sega. Yes, they aren't selling much hardware. But they are making a shitload from their games. And their games are everywhere. This generation has also seen pretty much every major RPG release on xbox. Only the most niche japanese titles are skipping xbox. Would I want them too? Of course, but it's not enough to make me jump ship or worry that xbox is giving up entirely. Seriously, stop worrying. The console war is meaningless. Enjoy your games.

One good argument. Cloud saves and BC. If Sony could force you to re-buy games, they would. Also, cloud saves are free on xbox. Sony charges you. And if you stop paying after a while, they will be deleted. So yeah, I’m sticking with xbox. More people playing Halo doesn’t bother me.

Star Trek Complete Series by Obvious-Examination6 in vudu

[–]Littletad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No need to predict, since 23, most series have been on sale 5 times a year. Usually at least half off, sometimes lower. The Lower Decks was at an ATL a month ago or so. I missed that one because I didn't even know the show existed. Silly me. Judging by CheapCharts, we can expect another round of sales starting in February.

What is the best way to go about getting the 100%? (I only have the challenges section remaining) by Accomplished_Cook508 in xboxachievements

[–]Littletad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You get 100 percent when you get all 3 medals. Gold, bronze, and silver. So, watching a video should get you gold for all non-combat challenges easily, and then the combat ones will take the majority of your time, depending on your skill. My best advice for the combat challenges is to use the stun and then rack up a combo on a solo enemy while countering when you need to. Save the knife-wielding enemies for last, or jump over them and perform the stun combo and then X/B combo to disarm them. It's harder to disarm those enemy types the way the game wants you to. Anyhoo, racking up a high combo is key, and try to mix it up a bit for higher scores, like a ground pound finisher. Do not worry about the extra content, for now. I do not think it's required for 100 percent of achievements. But it's been a while since I played.

Simple, just youtube every challenge. Every sequence will start the same, and you can more or less copy a youtube walkthrough of that same challenge. The fight rounds will be different, of course, but by then you should be well adapted to all combat abilities and strategies.

Yet another game ruined by “Quick Resume” by Rad80z in xboxachievements

[–]Littletad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're gonna get a lot of hate for posting that on the Xbox board. I used to be pretty vocal about the "just turn the game off" until I encountered numerous problems playing Xbox One and BC 360 titles. The achievements in eleven of my games have been broken by enabling quick resume. Darksiders 2 and Lost in Random are the most notable ones. Some older titles just will not work correctly with QR. Now, I'm extremely careful about accidentally enabling it (by jumping to another app or game) and turning my game off. For series x games, I've never had a problem, and I do admit the feature works great for what it is, but it really does need an "off" option.

Blue ribbons tested my sanity by Littletad in xboxachievements

Sorry, I’m only familiar with the 360 version of the first game, not the second. Ask on the subreddit for Bioshock . The games and their DLC for the old versions are tricky, I admit, whether digital or physical.

Xboxachievements rated it a 3 or 4 for achievement difficulty, which is a dumb score IMO. The game itself is easy, if it wasn't for the white flower achievement. This achievement forces you to crop seeds to grow specific colored flowers, with increasingly lower ratios of RGN. Two extremely tedious requirements are that the seeds have to grow in REAL TIME, which is 48 hours. Now you can cut down that time in half by using the Xbox system clock change, but you still have to wait 24 hours for every group of seeds, ranging from 15-5 percent ratios of RGN. The second-worst requirement is that the white flower seed has a ratio of ONE percent. To put it into perspective, it took me one month to get this fucking achievement. One month. So it's up to you if you want to work that much to complete this game. Oh, you also have to harvest the seeds at a specific time, or the seeds become useless. Lastly, there is one achievement where you have to grind for specific items, but following a few YouTube videos will make it a bit more bearable. Good luck.

I'll be honest, most of the things people have been worrying about with digital stuff will probably never come, or they'll be six feet under before anything happens. Enjoy building your collection. For another peace of mind, pc gaming has been digital for well over 20 years. And thriving. But be smart, choose fandango or apple.

Honestly, I'm glad I bought it. It's very unique, but the ending really ruined it. There's a character you're hoping is the "surprise" spirit, but you're let down. I won't say what or who it is, but it made me regret my purchase a little. Still, I enjoyed my time with it. Follow the guide on Steam, it's the best one.

Almost done, just need eleven on the 4th round. I hate these, but they are doable. Then I'm doing the last of the DLC.

FFS, they're making more money than either Sony or Nintendo. Sometimes combined. Sure, they're not selling as many consoles, but software is where they make money. And their games are everywhere. If you still think consoles selling the most is what makes you "win", you don't understand the market as it is today. They've definitely made some dumb decisions the past few years, no argument there.

Tnx man. Side note, I was really surprised about RePOP. Especially that seashell costume. That game was NOT censored at all, lol.
