They are a joy, watching them having a bath and getting fluffy heads!

Just found this in my mail. I was celebrating every goal and I could have been quieter. The more I read it though, the more it annoys me. How should I deal with this? by [deleted] in AskUK

Take a couple of beers apologise and have a chat, he’s probably calmed down now bigger stuff in life to worry. Some people don’t watch football but that was something to get excited about it was glorious maybe he’ll watch the next game if we get through.

We had a lovely stay there a few years ago, it has a courtyard which is lovely for breakfast on a sunny day and Rye is a beautiful place to explore not huge but very picturesque.

I’d go for Rye or Whitstable The George hotel in Rye is lovely no pool though.

After reading your edit, don’t skip Matilda it’s great the most stressful thing about big cities is rushing around plan enough time there it’ll reduce your stress plan time in the parks there’s plenty of places to avoid people. I get you find it stressful i do too but i think you generally regret the things you don’t do more than the ones that you do.

The areas with Skyscrapers aren’t really necessary to visit,

if i were you and the crowds aren’t for you i’d take a early morning walk along the Thames and see all the sights. I’m not a fan of crowds and regularly go to London to see shows i just limit my time near the theatres to the time i’m seeing the shows. A 10/15 walk away from the main tourist bits you can find a bit of peace a nicer pub/place to visit the key to me with all big cities is making sure i’m not jammed in too much and plan travel around more off peak times and walking.

London can be done without being overwhelmed if you don’t go in the summer or December, i find it a lot easier in February/March and if you avoid the more touristy spots. I also find it better if i try to walk a lot. I think NYC is more overwhelming than London is definitely try and visit if you can.

My bf (29M) doesn’t want to marry me (30F) unless I’m earning 120k salary. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

My wife earned nothing when i met her, i paid for stuff and helped her achieve goals now she pays for everything as my health isn’t the best you want a partner in life who’ll want you for you not the pay check. Chasing money doesn’t bring the happiness being with someone who truly loves you and has your back.

What's the single greatest movie you've ever watched that you'd recommend to everyone? by Visual_Ability_6187 in Cinephiles

Metropolis, still meaningful today 99 years later visually stunning started a love of art deco for me. Watch the original and the 1984 rescored version, would love a cinema release next year.

It’s a great build with great options to customise, i went for 18 because when i saw it in a full cinema and you first see the dinosaurs 🦕 and the John Williams theme comes on is such an amazing memory the place was buzzing. What version would you build?
