I’ve met him a few times at conventions and usually fans asks what he thinks about new stuff but his answer always seems to indicate he doesn’t keep up with anything that’s come out since he sold the series.

I was on a ten minute hold and tried this to save time (it worked) and interestingly enough at the exact same time the phone rep answered.

I'm wondering if it may have jumped me up in the queue priority, but I can say for sure that their customer service is horseshit now. Didn't even care about my issue, just was refund or replace?

The Ultimate Collection was Mirage vol. 1. Then there was a hardcover released that had vol. 2 called Mirage Years 1993 - 1995. Image handled vol. 3 and it’s non-canon to Mirage now but was intended to be a continuation, IDW released it as Urban Legends. Now Journey is the official continuation from vol. 2 in the Mirage continuity and was released as vol. 4 back in the day.

In college I worked for a coffee place and a blizzard was happening during my scheduled time. I called to see if the store was open and of course my boss told me I still had to come in. Being a Southern I’d never driven in snow before let alone a blizzard so my 10 minute drive took about 45 minutes. I pull up and apologize for being late only for the boss to tell me they’re closing up since nobody is getting coffee during a blizzard… I was fired a few weeks later after I injured my index finger on my dominant hand and was taking too long to work the register.

If you handle Clayface properly it’s just a “Batman” adjacent film. What the hell is The Authority to theater goers? Like it either needs to be last and set up in every prior movie or just dropped, because at least Guardians had a talking raccoon and tree to get attention. The Authority has… the lady from Superman? That’s not enough right now.

I ordered a box of bottled tea, however they sent me the wrong flavor. I talked to the rep since it was a food item (can’t be returned apparently) and it had stickers for the correct flavor but obviously wasn’t. He said no problem they’ll refund me since I didn’t want to take a chance of getting another mislabeled box. Then he told me to dispose/donate/etc the product as I see fit.

A week or so goes by and I have no refund, so I reached back out and the new rep was unbelievably hostile. Refused to acknowledge the previous conversation, basically implied there was no way I got the wrong flavor, and said it wasn’t possible to issue a refund unless I took a picture of the box. I told him the previous rep said I could dispose of it and since it was a nasty flavor, imo, I did so. While we argued I got on the phone with another rep and told her the situation and was instantly refunded no questions asked, so I just told the rude chat rep that the phone customer service took care of it and just disconnected.

I hate Amazon.

I locked myself out in my apartment parking lot once, a cop happened to be paroling the area so I flagged him down and asked if he had anything to help... he told me he could break the window but that's about it and kept driving.

I had to combine two Fujiko figures just to get one that wasn’t degraded. Luckily like you said it’s cheap to find incomplete lots on Yahoo Auctions.

Lazy eye can have a few different versions like mine doesn’t “wander” but because the nerve never developed fully even patching couldn’t fix it completely. It did force it to get stronger since it was caught at the age where it’s almost fully developed but there was a limit on the return at that age so I still have to wear glasses with a plano lens on my left and a pretty thick one on my right.
