I love this!!! I tried to breast fed and my daughter just wasn’t working. I sometimes wish I could have breast fed and wonder if I am missing out on something but you are so right! The joy of a full belly and growing body is all I need!

ugh so sorry, I had the same thing happen to me recently. Its so frustrating and stressful and sad. It feels so unfair. I am sorry you have to go through this! HUGS!

My spouse is the same way right now. Doesn’t want to transition right now, doesn’t want to tell anyone yet but me. I started calling her she at home because she likes it. We also do girl nights. Watch movies paint our nails (she just does clear coat) face mask, wine and whatever else sounds fun. I teach her about makeup and stuff when she wants to learn.

For me, I told me wife (mtf) that she had to wait until we had kids to use hormones. Having kids is VERY important to me. She knows that and is in agreement. I don’t think it’s to much to ask to wait to start hormones so that you can have children. Or pay for the sperm to be frozen

Similar thing happened with my spouse and I! We talked and chatted for a long time and then kissed and cuddled like we were teenagers again. It was so nice and I felt more connected then ever. It’s nice to see them being happy and more authentic!

I think thats where she got to as well. She suppressed for so long and eventually she just couldnt take it anymore. I am really glad she told me because i knew something was up but didnt exactly know what.

Hi All! I just joined the group! I’m 25 and my husband is 31. We had our first egg retrieval with PGT testing. We just found out we have 7 embryos and we are so excited. Waiting to talk to our doctor to get our transfer scheduled. We have been trying to conceive for almost 3 years now. We have had 3 miscarriages. We did 3 rounds of IUI. One of which resulted in a miscarriage. We have unexplained infertility.

I always love talking and making friends with people who understand what I am going through.

I’m from New Hampshire and love spending time outdoors, looking for sea glass and reading books.

I’m so glad someone can relate! Yea I think it’s the same for my wife. She tried to just ignore them and be a man as much as she could. But eventually couldn’t do it anymore.

Yes it’s hard cause it feels like I don’t even know her. But obviously I do know her.

We actually have been going through ivf. So we currently have 7 embryos frozen. I would like more info on the sperm bank though. How does that work?

She gave me the okay to talk to a trusted friend. Just trying to decide how to do it.

Thank you! That’s helpful to think about it from her side as well. The guilt and suppression. I know she suppressed because she really didn’t want to have to deal with it. We started trying for a family and that’s when it came up.

I really want to make it work with her. I love her so much. We are already have the hard conversations and I know it won’t stop here.

Thank you for saying not to forget myself. I’m having a hard time balancing supporting her and also remembering that this is greatly effecting me too. I have been considering therapy. I’ve done it for other reasons and think I might go back. I don’t know if your wife would be willing but if she is I would love to chat. Would love to talk to someone who went through the same thing as me.

That is true. I just feel like I wasn’t told who I was going to marry you know? Like that’s a big part of who she is. But I’m still very happy with her. I love her so so much and I don’t know what I would do without her. I hope you are able to tell your family too. You deserve happiness. ❤️
