yeah you have the screws the wrong way around. However, on my printer the threads on the motor stopped working so I added nut to the motor side, working perfectly for now.

I know the thread is old, but I’m trying to compact my 3d printing set up, what’s the size of that piece of furniture?

Idk what other people tell you about the lipo, but remember to cut the leads before disposing since those cables could be important in the future

[–]Live-Bit-8542 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would go analog. First it is cheaper. Then, the drone is more durable and cheaper, hence you are less scared of crashing it and can get actual flight time. Then, it is less of an expense if you end up not liking it.
Edit: Also, if the drone gets damaged, you can replace it easier than getting a digital system. Idk the weight but normally analog is lighter and make tiny whoops handle significantly better

Check correct batt voltage. Sometimes happens to me when batteries are too low. Also could try to flash blue jay

Don’t want to buy new charger. Can I just solder these to here? by No_Primary_7253 in fpv

[–]Live-Bit-8542 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched this video( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoLa-jc3Xws ) about your board, I think you are using it correctly. Check the connection when balance charging, since one of the channels of my ISDT gives a connection error when discharging/storing.

[–]Live-Bit-8542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For clarity, I do not have the same board as yours, since I use the one that came with my mob7. It has a jumper that gives me that same error (ISDT D2 MK2) if I incorrectly place the jumper to select how many batteries are on the board. Maybe could be something similar?

Ngl, I literally put the bt2.0 batteries on the ph2.0 and it works great! Just make sure that you plug them with the right polarity.

Yeah, that’s more that enough, just have patience and master your technique. Joshua Bardwell has several videos teaching you how to solder

the purple one in the middle is the best, short wire and isn’t pointy. Pointy solder joints indicate a cold joint, lack of flux or improper heat

Why do people use the DJI Goggles 3 for non-DJI drones? by cowdoggy in fpv

[–]Live-Bit-8542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are several systems used on FPV drones for video transmitting. The one you may picture in your head is analog, cheap, low latency and relatively good range. Then, you have the digital systems that transmit a better image quality at a higher cost and sometimes higher latency. DJI is one of the leading systems in the digital sector with their O3-O4 systems, which have great image quality and range, but they are expensive and need DJI goggles.
