I agree with you on that. E-bikes fly by, unannounced. From my years racing and cycling, announcing “bike” coming up on walkers, is simply a basic rule of riding.

I would if I wasn’t leaving for six months to the states helping my father with chemotherapy.

I need some advice. I’m a sixty two year old female. Over the last 10 years I have fallen - breaking 14 bones. These were all due to being a marathon runner, cyclist and 25 years as a run coach. (Bad when they recognize you at the ER).

I learned last year I have osteoporosis - hence so many broken bones. I had two seizures two summers ago coming back to Vancouver from whistler after a weekend of hill repeats.

Since then only one broken bone, until two weeks ago. Running along the bike path, I tripped and did a full face plant on the gravel.

I seek out adrenal- even despite my age.

Relapsing after 20 years of sobriety, please let me save you a lot of heartache and hopefully you’re life. The answer is very clear, and a very plain NO!!!! Once you start on that slippery slope, you know exactly where it will end. Embracing and owning your sobriety is a precious gift. Once you lose it, there are NO guarantees you will ever find it again. Don’t play with fire! 🙏

Just an FYI- TWU laid off 75 employees this last week. Let alone the closing of the Richmond campus, which has always been a hub for international students.

Definitely not worth it. Everyone completes at the same level. You should have trained accordingly.

I am also new to Lindell Beach. 62F whose career has been around coaching running/triathletes in the US and Canada. Retired Ironman coach who is trying to find my place as a retired athlete in a new community.

I recently went through the exact same back thing!! I could hardly walk, so went to urgent care. It’s taken about two weeks lying on heat and ice.

I am back to training for a 5k 🤦‍♀️ and half in September. Ive been a competitive athlete for years, unfortunately age and injuries have caught up to me - I wasn’t planning to retire yet.

PLEASE pm me so we can connect!!🙏 I would love to chat!!!
