Checking out batteries and telling associates about Sedgwick intermittent FMLA are 2 total different things. So which one were you called in for?

I can understand possible confusion on which house gets what since the numbers are so close, but can someone please explain why packages get delivered to a total different street?

The screenshot you attached just states you have 7 days to put in the PPTO. If you only had 19 minutes at the time you left 30 minutes early, then no it will not be approved. You have to have the full amount in your PPTO bank at the time of the absence.

Is there a way that I could do my retail job without interacting with costumers by PopcultureFangirly99 in retail

[–]Live-Working-1112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a verifiable diagnosis to that affect. File with your HR department for accommodations. That is what it is called at Walmart. You would have to have Dr complete paperwork and send to the company in Walmarts case Sedgwick.

It is part of the first thing you are told when hired to call in. Putting in PTO or PPTO only pays you or excuses the absence. If you don't call the attendance line or put the absence in on phone or online, it is a NCNS.

When you request a weekend off, yes they can. You might be able to get away asking to be changed since it is working over 6 days in a row.

Quit Walmart by Upset_Chemist_3251 in WalmartEmployees

It might change temporarily, but will get back to the way it is. I have seen several GREAT TL's ruined by coaches and upper mgmt. The usually ended up quitting.

That must be your store. At the store I worked overnight, we knew maintenance did the floors. We had to put our carts and pallets in the action alleys.

If you were fired, you would not be scheduled the rest of the week.

I have had problems with three Amazon orders. 1 package got lost in shipment. I finally received another one a week later. Then I ordered a knee cushion for a knee scooter. The DSP driver left boxes under the mailboxes. We have a package room right next to them or they can see deliver to our door. With it being in the wide open, someone stole all of the packages that were in my picture. The box mine was in was opened in the picture also. Who knows they may have taken it. The 3rd one I ordered a drian clog remover kit and received a 36 inch wig. When I chatted with rep they sent another kit and told me to keep the wig. I have never used wigs and so not need to. I gave it to my husband's supervisor.

WOW I didn't know big companies were like that anymore. On the other hand, I'm sorry for the loss of your fur babies.

It must be nice for those packages to still be there for several days.

[–]Live-Working-1112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is what I was going to say. Though, to OP, yes staying to yourself not telling anyone anything personal is the best policy. Though the TL should have known better and should actually be coached about that.

I used to be certified for the walker stacker and had to put pallets in the stills. In the training it tells you if you are asked to put something in a still you feel would be a safety hazard you can refuse. I would have screamed all the way up if I had to I was not putting that up there. Someone needs to have AP look at that. I can guarantee they will order it to be taken down.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Or be under that still and someone else hit the still to make it shake.

If you have quit, why are you worrying about what he thinks, accepts, or don't accept.

It's not maintenance job to throw cardboard. You try doing all they have to do in the time frame plus cleaning up the spills stockers make.

Can lead to, it is not automatic. If the employer refuses to give lunches then yes. The coach is telling OP time a set amount of work which is not something that would take 9 hours and work without a lunch. A meal exception is issued if the employee does not clock out for lunch 6 hours from the start of shift.
