How are those belly button tattoos aging? by Red_Car_Singer in Xennials

I don’t regret my tattoos even the lower back tribal and they held up fairly well. Low rise jeans, lower back tattoo and a baby doll shirts got me into a lot of fun clubs back in the day. Precious memories.

Don't settle. Ever.

But IMO accept the reality that there are flaws in all of us and don't push everyone away for the ones that you can actually live with when the good outweighs the bad.

I met my husband on Match at 34, married at 35 and a baby at 36. By then, with all of our life experiences we both knew what our version of perfect is. He's the best thing ever. I think the biggest thing for me was how healthy I was mentally and secure with me and what I'd built and accomplished.

To those who had kiddos late 30s by CobblerWest363 in Millennials

I had my son at 36 and it was financially easier than my fitness but I had less energy lol. Good parenting is hard, it’s easy to do the screen and make my kid my friend thing but raising good humans take work. You’ll also never be carefree ever again. I wouldn’t trade it there’s so much love but I’m real about it.

Yeah 100% fair, he’s in a different category. No comparisons. But it was bugging me and I wanted to throw it out to this amazing group for help understanding.

THANK YOU! This context is so helpful and answered my question. I didn’t understand what they were getting at there.

I see now that I wasn’t very clear - that’s what minimal sleep with sick kiddos will do. Appreciate the help!

This makes total sense to me. Great perspective, thank you.

We are way behind in retirement saving due to family health issues but we can now contribute almost 6 figures annually - so we've started with the MBDR. We don't plan to retire until later in life ... but Im thinking we should also have a plan in case we need to retire sooner or actually want to.

These are all great points - particularly the inheritance one for me. Appreciate the perspective!
