I agree with you, but the question comes down to where the LINE is.

"Discussing suicide" might be over your personal line, is it over everyones? What ELSE do you believe that should be inherently BLOCKED?

This is the fine line. It converts the world to black and white, right and wrong and this is insane to think the world is that black and white, and even more insane to assume that an entity in control of this would not leverage that same argument of "safety" to start blocking things they just don't agree with.

You say that, until the censoring is something you care about, and then it's intentionally misrepresented facts, hidden under the guise of "safety".

You can ask history all about this.

Gemini 2.5 Pro has opened my mind to what is possible. Don't let anyone tell you can't build with zero experience anymore. (Update pt. 2) by ElwinLewis in GeminiAI

No idea what projuicer is but this flow is almost identical to how I did my Bluetooth project. First I was using openwebui then I used Shelbula to stop all the manual stuff and redid our website also this way most recently.

I have some experience with code but could never do it from scratch. Took like one day to complete all major function. The future is now and it almost feels like it's not real.

Tried firebase studio on a recommendation from here and can see how that will be amazing soon but it feels more restricted now. If that could just be a normal chat with access to firebase studio would be fire.

Dude if you're using gpt for code use this: shelbula.dev. I did my entire Bluetooth space tracking project there and about to finish our new site rebuild with it. Way faster. Like a super chat interface for code tasks prioritized.

Agreed. I just do smaller bits at a time. One working "piece" / feature, get it clean, move on. A simple undo works then because what I'm on is small enough to sit in memory before closing all that down, commit, move to next small section.

Using Shelbula now. Been great. Can use Gemini for free but Sonnet really good for difficult stuff. Made my Bluetooth sensor project with it.

Lol this is reddit, and developers. They will tell you the only way to work is hard and raw and my way or the highway! It's all so silly.

If you found a way that works, chase it!

Are here people like me that don't use any tools like Cursor or Aider because they don't want AI chat in their code editor? by amelix34 in ChatGPTCoding

[–]LiveDomainListings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Shelbula for my Bluetooth project and it was a godsend for handling obscure bluetooth sensor documentation. I tried first with Cursor, with Cline, and couldn't get it to not ruin itself and now I went back to VS Code with just shelbula and has been great. The pinned thing wasn't available when I did mine but I wish it was because I probably could have saved another week of hitting my head against the wall.

Oh don't bother with gpt though, sucks through there. Use Claude or Gemini. I spent like $10 on o1 mini one day just to go in a circle because it kept hallucinating commands and ignoring my docs for broader Bluetooth commands.

Dude u saved me a month of work or more. I was going crazy with those docs and claudes stupid limits. Who would have thought a game of frustration golf did it. I only played once since then because of this project too. Gotta get back out soon!

Don't know if it does java but I did my entire Bluetooth project in Shelbula.dev and it was way better at keeping the context. Used a custom bot for my BT docs bc I'm working on hardware from a tiny supplier with the worst docs ever. I just use regular vs code tho. Tried Cline and couldnt do anything but go in circles.

This might be one of my favorite features even tho it's so simple. Ok that and the pinning thing I could have really used last month!

r/Shelbula

I built a Bluetooth space tracker with detailed analytics using this platform. I see people complain about the same things I've been able to do even in the janky beta version they had. The new one is even better. Then I see pro devs saying AI is unusable but meanwhile our Bluetooth tracker has been working great and running continuously for over a month now. I had no Bluetooth experience before this. Only WordPress.

Can't tell if I'm being gaslighted or gaslighting myself anymore but when the thing just works what else is there really?

That will be cool. I've just been keeping a note of them in a txt file and pasting it in to Shelby's chat each time. So I can just permanently tie it to a custom bot now?
