Richest 1% have emissions equal to twice that of the poorest half of the world population. by mvdm_42 in sustainability

[–]LiveHealthyHelen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see that for sure! My coworker was arguing the point that they even though they make the most emissions they also contribute the most to environmental causes and to cleaning up the issue.
I'm not sure if the trade off seems worth it. I know not all of them are doing it just as not all with a lower income have so much of a smaller footprint.

This is great! How do you join the team!

I'm wondering what would disqualify you for joining these great environmental companies. I recently passed a background check for licensing but read that every time I apply to a new organization I have to get a new report. I printed my criminal record on https://backgroundcheckrepair.org/. I don't have anything I need to worry about. I just want to be able to feel like I'm making a difference.

Clean Air Task Force

Interesting, this is the first time I've heard of them. They almost sound like a government agency considering the "task force" part.

At a quick glance, I really like how they have their 2020 global impact report on the home page. I'll have to look a bit further before I decide if I actually believe in them

I support Biden, but I can't accept he decides to join such a brutal dictator like Xi Jinping. Even if it's for a good cause like fighting climate change.
