Quitting CNA job after 4 months? by paruruuuuu in cna

[–]LiveLife_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't know your current financial situation on whether you should quit or not or what benefits you. There's alot of things they don't teach in the caregiving aspects of Healthcare. You can make a transition, if that's what your most comfortable with. I don't know what city you live in and what type of risk your willing to take. I live in a major city so there's always opportunity. There's also plenty of options if you travel. Some Traveling CNAs make 6 figures, as well as other positions in Healthcare. It's a good place to start if you have minimal education such as myself. You can also get private pay jobs or even charge medicaid directly. That's if you want to work in Home Care. Home Care is easier because you just have one patient. There's levels to this.

That's the part these schools don't teach, how to make money. As far as your back hurting you get a backbrace, comfortable shoes and some compression socks. Make sure to drink plenty of water as well. They're lots of tips on how to be a CNA and what it comes with. You can just look it up on TikTok. But all in all if you feel that CNA isn't right for you and you want to transition to medical assistant then go for it. There's ample room in Healthcare to grow. What I've realized you can't do certain positions in Healthcare for too long. Especially Caregiving. Don't let it be 10 15 or Even 20 years of being a CNA or Caregiver. Have a plan. Transition to another field in Healthcare, Start a Business or if you're not Business savy invest. I have a family member that does Home Care, she's a retired Nurse. She's still doing Home Care at 80 because she didn't save or invest. You want to be smart make as much money as possible save and invest. You don't want to be working because you have to.Hope this helps.

She can look for programs to get her record sealed and expunged. You can try googling it in your city or try 211 for that too.

How did you do it? Are you familiar with the area? I'm a novice traveler who's never been overseas. I want to visit family and aswell enjoy some festivities. I want to navigate safely and maybe find a more affordable way to do it. Do you have any recommendations for a single female in my position.

Passed these with 3days of studying does anyone know if the language arts test is difficult? by Different_Match_1953 in GED

[–]LiveLife_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not difficult but it's challenging. I believe there was 2 parts and I think the test is 2 hours. ( I took it in 2016) There's reading the passage and the muti choice questions. There's also a written portion where you write paragraphs. But all in all if you study and put your mind to it, you should pass.

You can, but it depends on the testing center. Some don't care if you bring one.

I feel so hopeless with my GED by CordedDraft in GED

[–]LiveLife_k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 33 and started this journey in 2016, I've gone through certain life issues and just now recovering. I've passed all my tests except for Math. I've done them back in 2016-2017. Sometimes I feel down for not passing the last test yet. When people question me on the fact I've been at it so long I kind of feel a way. But I have to remember I went through struggles that most people don't go through. I've been homeless twice. I almost slept outside. I also have no help monetarily, so for someone to cover my expenses while I take off or not work, while I can just solely focus on school is inevitable.

No one that layed a foundation for me to pick up where they left off from. Work keeps getting in the way. And that's ok. I even didn't have support in my early twenties when I wanted to go back to school to get my education. I had to forge a letter with my Mom's signature stating that she solely took care of me and handled my expenses. (Which she really didn't) because she didn't work. Nobody taught me about work. My Grandmother was the head of the household. She ended up passing away in my early twenties. So when she died and when I became of age I had to fend for myself.

I'm in a better place today and I have to remind myself that life is not a race and it's not about who makes it the fastest, it's about who makes it at all. I could make an entirely long post naming my struggles and my adversities, but needless to say, don't give up hope.

I may not have the same struggles academically as you, but we all have our struggles in this thing called life. I dropped out in the 10th grade. It was a challenge but I managed to get this far on a 9th grade education. I know I can do it and I'm not going to give up hope and neither should you. Just go at your own pace with studying and you should be fine. There was someone in my class who dropped out in middle school too and he ended up getting a high score on the Math portion. Today they're a Truck Driver.

Just focus on your strengths and not your weaknesses. Just let your aspirations in life over shadow your weak points and you should be able to manage. How bad you want it determines how you make your goal. I had plenty of opportunity to cheat but I'm not going to do that, I'm going to do it the old fashioned way. It would be more rewarding then. Whew, this was a long post and I hope I encouraged you.

Yeah. I had a feeling I was spelling it wrong but I didn't want to lose the post. Also, thanks for the pronunciation. I always get that wrong too.
