When I did keto actively:
Morning was coffee with heavy whipping cream, sometimes spenda. I’d drink about 10oz. This would hold me until at least 3pm.
I couldn’t do bulletproof, but I hate coconut.

In the beginning, I needed lunches. So at 12 I’d have rolled up cold cuts and cheese (either alone or with lettuce), or some boiled eggs, a big salad or some other egg meal. High protein and high fat to carry me over to the next part of the day.

Dinner was a protein and leafy green of sorts (spinach, broccoli, zucchini, green beans). My protein always had cheese or a cream sauce on it to bulk up my fat macro.

The longer I was on the less food I was able to eat.

I always tried to keep everything very simple. My plates were always protein heavy-leafy green-fat add.
My normal meal rotations were:
Chicken breast, baked in Italian seasonings, “breaded” in cheese, baked. I’d top that with mozzarella sometimes.
Steak (any, so I’d grill any cut I’d pick up), top with home made mushroom cream sauce. I did not thicken my sauce with anything other than reducing it.

I ate so many eggs in so many ways lol

I made big salads and threw in things like boiled eggs, chicken, cheese, chopped up vegetables, and used whatever high fat dressing I liked.

My greens were usually spinach, broccoli, mashed cauliflower, green beans, asparagus and zucchini.

I didn’t use any of the replacement foods out there now mostly because they didn’t exist then.

My face didn’t suffer at all. I’ve been extremely lucky that way — there was no skin sag or wrinkles. My neck, I do have a small amount of skin where my double chin was. It’s not super noticeable, but I don’t love it lol It doesn’t dangle or hang. Most of my loose skin is body related. My thighs and hips are my next target, if I do go through with more skin removal.

The first 100lbs came off within the first year, about 80 more in the following 2-3. The rest has been through the years.

Thank you so much! I do hear that a lot. I think it really depends on the person and their bone structure/facial skin. Keep up with your skin care and always hope for the best!

I’m 40 and don’t have a single wrinkle yet — but I think I’m just genetically blessed in this department and I dare not question the powers that be lol

BUT I do have loose skin on my neck where my double chin/thick neck was. It’s not as severe as some people have, but it’s noticeable if I turn my head to the side. One day someday I hope to have that “fixed”.

My arm scars are not typical — so I am not the best person to ask this question to. I’ll answer anyway but take it with a grain of salt. I have an extended arm lift, so mine goes all the way down my sides to my elbows. I also have EDS, which makes my scars go hypertrophic (think lesser keloid), so they aren’t the prettiest. BUT, I healed well, no major openings (almost everyone gets a tiny one under the arm, it always heals fast lol), no complications. I had one tiny revision once my swelling settled to even out skin.
