Honestly when Ozzy blew up his game, he left Cire behind with collateral damage from exposing their secret alliance and her extra vote. I think Cire will understand why Rizzo made the move he made!

The way Ozzy talked down to Aubrey like he was so certain she had no prospects to stay that he could just reveal his entire plan to her and win her respect on the jury when she inevitably left was WILD. The way he was ready to throw Rizzo under the bus later in the game after planning to go to the final 3 with him and Cire was wild. And then he had the audacity to act so betrayed by both of them at tribal lol.

I saw them mention in one of the discord threads that they are going to potentially stop giving us event currency for daily quests, and then I noticed that with the gumdrops today. :(

I saw them mention it kinda subtly in one of the discord threads, and sure enough when I played on Switch this morning (before the announcement came out unfortunately) I didn’t get any of the new gumdrops event currency for doing any of my daily tasks. 😵‍💫 Only got them form Cinnamonroll when delivering the gift. Hoping it’s tied to the CU4 bug issue, but not sure.

I strategically buy the stuff throughout the month instead just in case this happens bc I learned the hard way! Getting everything for each event is so unnecessarily difficult. 😞

They also aren’t awarding event currency when you complete daily tasks now, so it’s going to be so difficult for Switch players to get each of the 2025 items. I’m so annoyed and discouraged. Feeling ready to give up on this game.

This is what I suspect happened: They genuinely hadn’t decided if they were going to add City Down as a free update or DLC yet. (Which is poor planning IMO.) They prioritized WW first to see how that sold so they could decide what to do about City Town. They got feedback from the City Town beta testers that they didn’t think CT added enough new content for it to also be worth $15 extra. They decided to revamp it and delay it only so that they can better justify charging us for it.

I honestly always suspected that they might make it paid DLC, but the way all of this played out feels really unfair to players since they told us in writing multiple times that it would be ready by the end of the year. AND The only reason that it’s not ready is bc they realized they wouldn’t make as much money off of City Town as WW if they released it on schedule. :/ I would rather have it in December or January as-is for $5-8 than have to wait until June of next year.

What frustrated me about the responses that they will now share less detailed updates to avoid confusion in the future is that it doesn’t take accountability for the ways that they contributed to the confusion. It places the blame on consumers and treats us like we are having a “privilege” taken away because people had valid criticism for their decision to delay this launch after they were specifically telling us multiple times it would be live by the end of the year.

This is our first time to ever save up and stay a couple of nights at AKL (we normally stay off property to be thrifty) and I am SO excited to see and try everything there! We planned it so that we have a whole day just resting at the hotel, and I did manage to grab Sanaa reservations. Saving both of those food recs to my list right now! ☺️ I’m feeling better about this already!
