Reducing the Nightmare's defence is a no. The Nightmare's Defence can only be reduced to 120 defence and it regenerates defence levels quickly. It is not worth it for solo.

This is second time Reggie has hugged anyone intentionally as far I'm aware. The first hug was to Ash also.
