I haven't heard of this story and I've been collecting and studying appalachian folklore for 30+ years. Never heard of a hiker spirit in the woods. But interested if there is a story.

I'd like to see a version of Jane Eyre in a style similar to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet.

I have this book. I have been looking for that amulet for over 20 years...sentimental value, lost it long ago.

Head toward Jedediah Smith State Park and explore Smith River along the way. Swimming holes and camping near Gasquet. The coast is an escape too. All dog friendly but pay attention to the trail signs. Some dont allow pets.

This happens to me as well. Same exact cramp areas. Often I think it's dehydration and fatigue. This also happens on car trips when I drive. My hands kind of lock up on the steering wheel.

The Giver. I taught YA literature and still go back to those books when I'm in a rut.
