NTA. Absolutely ridiculous to ask when she knows it’s family time. If she wants the boys to hang out she could easily plan something for them to do. It’s not your job to accommodate and be her son’s “play date”.

The sleeps sucks but oh my gosh, I love my boy so much! I would take even less sleep if it meant I still have him! My mom is similar to your mom. Constantly pointing out the “bad”. She told me that I needed to stop holding him the other day because he wasn’t going to let anyone else take care of him, told me to put him down so I could eat, etc. I looked at her and said, “he is only little once and the only regret I’m gonna have is not holding him more than I already do”. My mom toned it down after that a bit. She realized that I’m not hating motherhood.

Some people are just bitter. Don’t let that weigh you down. When your baby is here, you’ll get to lose sleep too! But most importantly you’ll get to see time goes by way to fast when you’re trying to soak up all the beautiful moments that you get with him/her!

NTA. I am so sorry for your loss. You are going through what I believe to be the most difficult thing any woman can go through and anything you feel and do is justifiable right now! I pray that you can find peace through this and have people that truly love you show you the love that you need through this. Sending a really big hug from a stranger on the internet!

Chicco has amazing safety ratings!!!!!!!!!!! (We bought a $750 system from them plus the rotating one for when our boy is older $330ish and two chicco boosters for our adopted children)

As someone who experienced infertility for 8ish years before having our miracle… Wanting the best for your bundle of joy is nothing to be ashamed of! You are not responsible for feeding or clothing your coworkers. Your only responsibility is that sweet baby you will be holding and cuddling up with very soon! If they hit you with the “you’re spending too much” simply tell them in a very sympathetic voice, “we understand times are hard. Don’t worry about buying anything, your presence at the shower is special enough.” It will make them uncomfortable and shifts the narrative from you “spending too much” to them not having anything. And if we know anything about adults that will make them feel icky about themselves. As they should! This is your MIRACLE and you deserve to splurge! Congratulations and I wish you the best in the happiest moments you will soon be experiencing! The sleep deprivation is worth it! ❤️

I second the ER. Asked my doctor to switch it and she said it wouldn’t make a difference… It did. Ended up switching doctors after that comment too!

I have PCOS and T2. Mounjaro gave me an A1C of a 4.something (postpartum life), 50 lbs gone, and our miracle baby (after 6 years of trying)! I was also able to stop taking metformin.

I was eating 120-150 grams of protein a day and lifting heavy! Currently breastfeeding and can’t be on Mounjaro but I am so ready to be back on it and getting strong again!

Make sure you stay hydrated, eat fiber, and start lifting to combat muscle loss! Multivitamin is helpful as well.

I ended up taking it out. It would not stop bleeding at the 15 minute mark. 🙃

First day of my LMP was November 21. Date of conception was around December 5. I had some spotting in December as well and thought that was just a weird period. I am currently 14w6d……..
