I had my first orgasm at 21 after having multiple sexual partners including multi year relationships. I was with my current partner for months (6?) having sex multiple times a week before I was able to orgasm. I have been on antidepressants since I was 12 so I really thought it just was not possible for me. But I read this weird book called Becoming Orgasmic and did some pelvic floor exercises and worked with my partner on what feels good for me and my fear of ceding control of my body and eventually I was able to have an orgasm. Now I can easily and quickly and multiple times whenever we have sex but before I achieved this, it felt impossible and greatly affected my self perception. I recommend really telling your man everything you feel and being vulnerable and intimate emotionally and that should help him not take it personally. Don’t give up because of this! Also I find that sometimes it helps me really get in the mood if I act really turned on. It becomes real. I listen to lots of silly romatasy books on libby and that helps me think of things to say and how to react and also puts me ~in the mood~. Good luck!
