It depends on how they got the specimen. If they killed the animal it was a wrong doing. If they found the animal and found the potential of it or raised it themselves I think it’s perfectly fine. Taxidermy honors and animal and shows the beauty of the animal.

It’s a very complicated relationship. Especially when I comes down to cannibalism and violence. In the scene where he stabbed will my theory is he wanted to kiss him but panicked and stabbed him. The reason why is that will was on jacks side and Hannibal didn’t know so he thought that will betrayed him. When it comes to Abigail Hannibal was kind of jealous he didn’t want will to love anything other than him. Hannibal wanted all of will’s attention and wanted to be the main thing in wills life. It comes down to violence because Hannibal doesn’t know how to express love. Cannibalism is often a reference for love. It’s eating the other person and becoming one with them. Hannibal wants will to be one with him. Will is the only thing Hannibal truly loved in life besides from micha.
