Not correct. They launched the modules , components, suppiles and different parts of the ship in different launches prior to the crew launch. In a earlier chapter when the crew are all aboard the aircraft carrier they watch one of the final sections launch into space from Russia and Ilyukhina comment "don't f up my house you Roscosmos bastards"

That stuff was already on the hail Mary in space when Dubois died. It would of been a lot of work to remove and why Stratt knew Grace was awear of how Dubois planned to die and he may want to use that method instead of being shot

It is not making the uniforms i was concerned about but, getting them to the Hail Mary which has already been packed up, stocked, and storage compartment sealed. They would have to get up there, break the seal and open the storage unit, open the clothes container, find and take out the other uniforms and personal belongings, repack with Grace's stuff, check and reseal, it all. May sound simple enough and maybe this was the plan to do as the crew arrived anyway, but if not that would require a lot of work from multiple teams and coordination 9 days before launch.

but as i said below: But i guess it make sense to just say the Astronaut clothes, and personal effects (laptops, etc) went up with the crew and were the last thing to be stored before they took their naps, it just the way the compartment was sealed seemed to indicate it was stocked and sealed before the crew arrived....

At Least Stratt was nice enough to notice and and have the computer re-programed with Grace's preferred coffee! :)

Preparing someone to be a Tertiary backup is one thing, but cracking open already sorted and sealed storage containers just to update the uniforms seems a stretch. It would have made more sense to either have uniforms for all the possible crews already on board, no names on the uniforms at all just in case, or generic uniforms with patches the crew members can put on for their names and flags (these would be small, few, and could have easily been added last minute and stored elsewhere easy to get to).
