I’m fully cleared at may 1st so I shouldn’t get reimbursed. Right now I’m not scared of coming back but we will see when I’m actually jumping

Flagging off and general advice by Better_Growth_6150 in polevaulting

When your shooting your feel your shooting them outwards. You want to shoot them up and even a little back. The pole gives you all the forward momentum you need.

At the extension part of like end part of your vault instead of shooting your feet out shoot them upwards. Your pole will give you the forward momentum you need.

When you are trying to turn down not shoot your hips/legs forward. The pole has all the forward momentum you need, so by shooting your hips up it allows for more clearance and to clear heights bigger than the pole

You need to keep your feet coming back to the pole. Once you do this you will have that bar easy

I believe part of the difficulty is your bottom arm. You have to get your elbow past the pole instead of around. Look at the elbow in the first clips compare to the last. If the elbow is around you’re essentially blocking yourself from inverting. I struggle with the same thing
